Marcet made his way out the other embassyroom towards this one, and hoped to find a more interesting conversation. Marcet sat down at the table, where the negotiations probably already had begun. He could see a man and Ambassador Logens sitting at the other end. He tried to hear more about their conversation

Marcet tries to think of a good answer to give on the question Zentox asked him.

"Well, Vontak Nor is still operational but we have moved our priority tasks a bit. I think you could say that the Cardassian Empire didn't appreciate our results or progress in that matter"

I´ll still be in command of the station of course. And I will stay there. I think Marcet can manage himself here.

(OFF: How about activity and so...? It is kinda dead though...)

OFF: good move, you should become a negotiator forreal :P

"Ah, I see no problem with that. My people may need to learn how to use Cardassian technology and computer systems at first, anyway. Of course, if Mr. Rugal and Mr. Marcet agree to this proposal too, since it is still their station..."

Hm... If there will be Star Fleet officers aboard Vontak Nor I want to be able to decide who will get access codes and to where.

But other then that there is no problems. The officers and crew will obey me, so what they think is no problem either. I am CO, and I decide what we´ll do untill we get other orders. Wich I doubt whery much will come... So, when do we leave?

(OFF: Do I even need to say I will be the grosse boss? :P)

OFF: Vorak is not back on the station yet, so currently Montrell would be the next in line. At the moment, Montrell is having a debriefing with the USS Skytoucher's captain. And the idea is that the Skytoucher will head for the Dark Passage and Loxian Exile territory, and take Zentox, Rugal and Marcet on board. But of course, Montrell doesnt know about these negotiations yet, so he needs to learn about it first before he can decide to give this mission to the Skytoucher :P

"Understood Mr Zentox, have a safe journey . And you too Admiral Rugal and Gul Marcet"

Admiral Montrell nods friendly to the leaving guests

"Counsellor Logens, wait a second. I must say that you have handled these negotiations magnificent. This will be a great addition to your Starfleet records ."

Montrell shakes the hand of the counsellor and heads for the exit

treaty with the Loxians...

"But if we don't fight for our freedom, they'll either enslave or destroy us... A new home, it sounds so beautiful, but I don't see how it can be possible. If just-"
*Suddenly, he sees Marcet walking in.*
"What's he doing here?? He's a Cardassian! He was on that station, Vontak Nor... always spying on us, luring us out, blowing up our mine facilities!"

jack walks into the room

"hello Zentox im Jack Siren the Embassy co nice to meet you"

*holds out his hand*

OFF: Dernok is still around, and he's willing to continue to play that char for Vontak Nor Also, the idea is that when the Skytoucher eventually goes back to the Dark Passage, Rugal and Marcet both accompany Zentox and the Skytoucher crew on board

*Zentox tries the drink that is presented him.*
"Most delicious, your Federation type of drinks, Mr. Ambassador. By the way, Mr. Logens, we welcome any kind of supplies you are willing to offer. I must tell you, though, that at first my people may be reluctant to accept your help, especially from Cardassians. My people have known nothing but to tend to themselves, and they are not used to getting help this freely. They will feel suspicious about it, but I trust in the good intentions of you both... I know that the Goddess Tazay has a hand in this, or else this good fortune would never have befallen us."
*He looks gratefully at Logens, Rugal and Marcet.*
"Our main problems are food, and energy supplies for our ships. Many of our ships are also in a very bad shape, but if we can relocate our people on Vontak Nor, many of those ships will likely be abandoned anyway."

OFF; Take ds9 for example but in this case the loxians would be in control of the decision making.

"We propose that in exchange for helping you repair the station, the federation would like to use its facilities from time to time, maybe to repair are ships or run scientific programmes. It would not only help use both but your people would have noting to be worried about, after all the federation would be gaining something from helping you, as would the cardassions, one of there stations would be restord to its former glory and it would be the birth place of a peaceful relasionship between our three species. federation ,c ardassions, and loxians working side by side."

OFF: hello Rugal? We're waiting here lol.

"Thank you, Mr. Logens. It was a very rich experience for me, to visit this station and meet all these magnificent people, though short the stay was. I hope I may yet be blessed with another opportunity to visit this place again in the future."
*Then he faces Marcet and Rugal.*
"I believe the Skytoucher is waiting for us, so let us return there."
*He nods friendly at admiral Montrell as he leaves the embassy.*

OFF: Marcet, Rugal and Zentox now continue on the USS Skytoucher forum (Avalon division) in the new mission topic.

*Zentox carefully walked into the embassy office of the station. It had taken him awhile to find it, even though people and the ship's computer had given him detailed directions. The station was so large, so many decks and corridors and halls and rooms... He had only recently come aboard this huge station, when the USS Skytoucher docked and the ship's commanding officer was called for debriefing. Cmdr. Burma had suggested him to go by the Embassy for formalities and such. Zentox was not used to such a large station, he had lived most of his life in the asteroid field of the Dark Passage, in small ships only...*
"Greetings, I am Zentox, Loxian General. Is this the Embassy or did I get lost on this station once again?"

"I certainly hope to explore your wonderful station later on... But one thing I am missing... where are the statues of the Great Warrior Commander Burma, and his assistant Robinson? They are the greatest warriors the Gods have ever sent to help us! Ah, but one day when our homeworld will be free again, we shall make huge statues for them, and build large temples!"
*Zentox sighs, and his anxiety turns into sadness.*
"Our homeworld free again... our people free again... It seems to have become a dream that will only be that - a dream. Ambassador, our people have lived under the domination of a very strict government for many generations now. This government does not allow anyone to oppose them. That is how I got exiled, because I didn't think they way they did, I didn't say the things they wanted to hear, I wasn't who they wanted me to be... They murdered my wife in front of me, and my kids were both taken away from me and were fully brainwashed... And I was exiled from the only home I ever knew... Me and many others retreated therefore in the asteroid field of the Dark Passage. We are pirates, I admit, but it was our only way to survive in that barren place where we had to hide all our lives from the Loxian government... All I want to see is my people living free again... That families can be reunited, that our people may go back home one day, and still stay who they are. No more government that dominates our way of living, our culture, our personalities, our freedom.... And to my people, I am a mighty, fierce general of which now already tales are told... but in truth, I am weak... I can't save my people all the time, I can't give them their home back... We're too weak. And I admit, ambassador, without the help of your people it will never change."

*Zentox eyes Marcet suspiciously.*
"Alright... I suppose you were only defending yourself. After all, we harassed you with raids more than enough too, but what else could we do? It was our only chance to survive and get supplies. Now that I think of it, I haven't seen you Cardassians around for quite some time, as if your station Vontak Nor has gone dead. What has happened?"

OFF; I was hoping to have the talks in my office if no one has a problem with it.someone please respond so I can post to have the room ready.If it is a problem we could have it here but you might need to leave tell i get the place ready. I know its not normal but its my first time in charge of some thing like this and I want to be right.

OFF; ok my call, lets get started.

*As logens talks to the out officers, a group of young waiters arrive with a selection of alien foods and drinks and begin to serve to all present.*

"I thought you would all like some refresments before we start, the negotiations begin , ill be call over the conn as soon as we can begin."

*Logens exits the room and heads for the office down the hall*

=/\= Logens to general zentox and other officers, the meeting area is ready please report to the ambasseders office as soon as possible.

"Thank you, ambassador."
*Then he looks surprised at Rugal.*
"You are willing to allow us space to live on Vontak Nor? That would be magnificent... the conditions to live in would be much better, and we would be much safer too. I thank you greatly, Admiral Rugal. Perhaps an age of peace between your people and mine, may start with these negotiations. Who will be in command of Vontak Nor then?"

OFF: this is the moment for Marcet to take command of the station, unless Rugal wants to return there and take command himself.
OFF2: And by the way, john logens: this offer was made by Rugal on my request, because its necessary for the storyline and because we havent got extremely much time for these first negotiations. Even so, that doesnt mean the negotiations arent over yet. Logens, now its your turn to negotiate how Starfleet can help the Loxian exiles in the form of food supplies and such.

*Logens thinks for a moment and then comes up with an idea.*

"General the federation will offer any food supplies you may need of course, but perhaps to put your peoples worries to rest we would also be willing to offer some sort of presence on the station till you can get on your feet.Im sure Admiral Vorak could arrange for a starship to visit the station and drop off supplies and repair officers.

OFF: since you apparently are able to post often, are you interested to create more characters in other divisions, by any chance?

"I am aware that my people will be reluctant, at first... but when I have talked to them, and have told them that this is the will of the Gods and the Messiah of the Gods, they will abide no matter what."
*Then he looks at Admiral Rugal as well and awaits his response.*

"I'm more than willing to help this new alliance to be born. It is only - how much, 10 years? - ago, that our people were still enslaving the Bajorans, and even less long ago that our people collaborated with the Dominion to take over the entire quadrant. And now here we sit, two Cardassians, one Loxian and one human Starfleet officer, discussing the very fact that we will share one Cardassian space station with both Loxians and Starfleet. Clearly, our people have evolved over the last few years, and I am more than eager to be part in this new alliance between Cardassians, Loxians and Starfleet."
*Then he turns to admiral Rugal.*
"Please, admiral Rugal, grant me permission to go with you and Zentox back to Vontak Nor, and help this alliance to succeed. After all, Vontak Nor is abandoned and probably in a bad state. You will need people who can get it fully operational again, and also people to keep it running."

"Oh you certainly will Counsellor, don't be afraid of that"

Montrell puts a smile on his face

We have come to an agreement with the Loxians and the Cardassians. Starfleet will supply the Loxian exiles with food and other primary needs, and Cardassian fleet admiral Rugal is willing to provide space for the Loxians to live, on his station Vontak Nor in the Dark Passage. He also allows a permanent presence of Starfleet on his station. My recommendations are to send a ship back to the Dark Passage, with General Zentox, Admiral Rugal and Gul Marcet, to provide the supplies and help the Loxian people to move out of the asteroid field.

"Mr. Logens has stated this correctly, admiral. And in name of the Loxian Exiles, I am grateful for the support you are granting us. I hope a ship is available to bring us back to the Dark Passage?"

*Turns to admiral Montrell.*
"Then I believe everything is settled. I will not hold up these fine people any longer, if the U.S.S. Skytoucher is waiting for them to board. So I declare these negotiations completed and succesful."
*Turns to Zentox, Marcet and Rugal.*
"You may all go now, and I hope your journey will be well."

*Greatings......Im Ambasseder Logens,the federation ambasseder here on the station.As a starfleet office I welcome you to the station, I look forward to are talks in the future.When your ready I hoped we could talk in my office.

"My heart goes out to your people general really.The federation is happy and willing to offer any help we can but we can not solve the problem of freeing your people from you past leaders, are laws stop use from doing so. Perhaps you should consider that now is the best time for you and the other exiles to start again, build a new home and a new way of life, I know that a new home world cant make up for losing your family but I am also the stations consellour here at avolan and I cn tell you that it will get better. Speaking as both an ambasseder and a counsellour I think its important for you to ask yourself one question, would your wife and family want you to keep fighting or would she want you to build a new home for the cause she died for.

Marcet suddenly felt this strange feeling, he felt as if he wasn't in his place. What should he do, try  to negotiate with this Loxian.

"Mr Zentox, please forgive me but that was our past. What we did in our past may have been terrible, but your people have also commited harsh actions against the Cardassian Empire. I am a man of forgiving oneother, please let us forgive"

Marcet reached out his hand and awaited Zentox'

"Greetings, Mr. Siren. This Embassy is certainly an impressive place... Here we sit, two humans, one Cardassian and one Loxian, total different cultures each, and yet talking in peace. I take it as a good sign from our Goddess Tazay, that perhaps good fortune will come for my people. So, Mr. Marcet, I have always known the feared Admiral Rugal to be in command of Vontak Nor, but he is not there any longer? Who runs the station now?"

OFF: its your call As long as the negotiations dont need to be delayed

Mr. Zentox, right nopw the staytion is only working half.way due to lack of fundations from the Empire. And I am afraid that it will not be a high priority any longer...

*Look on Zentox*

If you´d like, I could let you operate Vontak Nor for as long as you feel you can manage it. I wont givce you ALL the security codes the first thing... But one never know. Se it as a token of good will...

OFF;ok sorry, Ill take it that u and the others have all taken seats and ill get started.

"General as you know the federation is willing to offer any help we can, in the limits of what are laws allow us to do of course.Please why dont you tell us what you want and what you need and Im sure we can come to some solution, perhaps help in repairing the station or medical supplies.

"Hmm... I am intruiged... Tell me more about what you mean with a presence on the station?"

OFF; Thanks, I have no idea were that move came from.

*Logens looks at Rugal and Marcet.*

"Well gentlemen its up yo you, will you allow federation officers on the station, under your orders of course as you will still be in command."

"As I said Admiral there is something in it for all of us."

*Everyone waits in silence for the Admirals response."

"Gnetlemen I believe we have reached a mile stone and have had succesfuly come to an arrangement.Perhaps General Zentox you should go to the station with Admiral Rugal while I talk to Admiral Vorak."

Good work, Mr. Logens. I knew I could trust on you to unite our people at last. I will make sure you have a ship available within 24 hours. Allow me to finish the debriefing of captain Burma, and then I will join you in the embassy to give you all a briefing as well.

*Logens immediately gets up from his chair, to greet and welcome the admiral.*
"Hello, admiral.  Basically, General Zentox has agreed in name of his Loxian Exiles, that they will all move to a new permanent location on Cardassian station Vontak Nor, inside the Dark Passage. The station is more or less abandoned at this moment, deemed a failed project by the Cardassian Union, but Admiral Rugal and Gul Marcet are willing to bring the station's systems back online, and also man its posts again with their own people. Secondly, Zentox has requested humanitarian aid from Starfleet, in the form of food supplies, and a ship that can help him and his people to be transported to Vontak Nor. All the details are in this report, sir."
*Hands over a padd to Montrell.*

"As am I General Zentox, I have faith in this new alliance. What do you think Admiral Rugal?"

"Thank you, admiral. I hope that sometime soon, I will have another chance to be put in charge of negotiations like this."
*Walks with Montrell through the exit.*

"Thank you, Ambassador. I must say that it is very much an honor for me to be here, and my journey to your station today, will be told and retold, over and over again, among my people, until it has become a legend... General Zentox who was the first to meet Commander Burma, the Messiah of the Loxian Goddess Tazay! And he came with a message of hope for our people, that one day we can all live in freedom on our homeworld again! Statues and temples will be built in his name! And from generation to generation, it will be told over and over again... that I followed the Messiah to the home of the Loxian Gods... station Avalon!"

OFF: you'll understand all this when you read the latest mission topic in the forum "USS Skytoucher" on Avalon Division board. Basically, Cmdr. Burma and the Skytoucher had given asylum to some Loxian Exiles who were attacked by Loxian Government ships. And now the Loxian Exiles look at Burma as some sort of God or Messiah :P

off; no my office is in the embassy and its called the ambasseders office, I could post now saying that officers arrive with some food and drinks for us all while I set up the area, this is getting harder and harder is'nt it but its fun.

OFF: You do know that youve just ended the negotiations

Marcet looks at his Commanding Officer, Admiral Rugal.

"I think this would be a great change to get our station up and running again admiral. Maybe with the presence of the Loxians, we would be able to represent the real thing which the Cardassian Empire stands for!"

"Im sure we can clear something with admiral Vroak soon, but you understand that starfleet want an officer to represent are staff on the station, nt that this would effect your decision making."

*Looks at Rugal.*
"It seems we will finallly get to see some action again at last, after such a long while of lingering. I look forward to see Vontak Nor again, don't you, admiral?"

*Leans back and smiles.*
"I'm as ready as one can be."
*Glances over to Marcet and Rugal, hoping they will say the same.*

"There is much about your people that I hope to learn in the future, your relegion is only one example.
Perhaps before we begine our talks I could quickly show you were starfleet officers can go on the station to relax, perhaps you would like to try an earth drink or some klingon food, we have a very large selection on the station

OFF: I assumed we were in your embassy office already?

OFF: Sorry all but I got new orders, the talks will be here so if some one who can, could you please delete the post I made before this one.

*As the others talk Logens over sees the beam in of a large table with a set of chairs.

"Ambasseders, general if you are all ready we can begin"

*lognes takes a seat and waits for the others.*

OFF; I oclu post almost everyday of the week but I would like my characters to stay in the areas of counseling or medicane, maybe a pilot but that would be it.
Got anything in mind.

"I am already very pleased with the fact that you are willing to give us a place to live, on your station, Mr. Rugal. I don't expect you to give us access to your systems as well. What you arrange between your superiors and Starfleet, is not my business, of course."

Admiral Montrell entered the Embassy room and saw everyone gathered around one large table. He nodded towards Mr Logens and Montrell sat down.

"I have been informed about the succes this meeting has brought. Would you please inform me one last time, about the achievements that have been accomplished?"

Montrell reads the report that he was just given by Counsellor Logens.

"Allright, everything seems to have been worked out here. This day may be marked as a day that our people unite, we have set the first step towards a glorious future, haven't we Admiral Rugal "

Montrell turns towards Zentox

"Mr Zentox, I have just given the order to Captain Burma to make all preparations onboard the USS Skytoucher. The Skytoucher will bring you and the Cardassian representatives to station Vontak Nor. There are also supplies aboard the Skytoucher which will be transferred to Vontak Nor."

Admiral Montrell sits back in his chair and folds his hands behind his head

"So Mr Zentox, what do you think?"
