*and tries to push some buttons to test the power connection*
Lieutenant Miller, this power conduit is malfunctioning, are you sure it is connected correctly?
Mr. Dixion, I take my coffee black with two sugars thanks.:)
Lt. Dixion, that sensor net upgrade you spoke of, you didn't use any microfibre filiment syst.... oh never mind, we got work to do.
Commander Myers, you will get you engineer back as soon as you need him.
*looks back to Dixion and Miller*
Gentlemen, we shall begin with the primary power relays on deck 28. that section sustained the most damage during the early attack of the Romulans.
*goes to a wall outlet and takes some tools from the compartment* grab what you can, we might need all of these.
OFF: The "Grillhouse"
OFF2: Fresh crew, huh
Commander, I just want to be ready for anything.:)
*directs the small group in the direction of the most severe damage*
*while walking Diaz is talking*
So, how long will your ship be docked Commander Myers
or is that a classified answer? *smiles*
OFF: sorry for the lateness but no one else in ops os here to do this job.
Let me know if there is anything you need from me.
What seems to be the problem with the fighters?
If you would like to help you can work on repairs for the Tiberon.
EA: here you go sir, it took a while to find this. Do you know how unorganized the cargo bays are. It looks like anybody can get in there and take anything they want. Security should be here but it isn't.
DIAZ: your right, but what can we do about it, now pass me that hypospanner over on that table
*hands him the tool*
EA: sir, how should I align the intake manifold?
Diaz looked up
DIAZ: what? oh, umm... use that duotronic probe to regulate the plasma flow
the assistant picked the tool up and began using it
*meanwhile Diaz was working on a way to recalibrate the plasma injectors*
DIAZ: I managed to decrease the plasma deviation to.. uh..looks at the monitor to check 12%.
EA: plasma flow is back to regular levels
DIAZ: good now that warp drive is back to normal we can fire up the engines
EA: sir we can't do that just yet
DIAZ: Why not?
EA: we need to reinforce the plasma flow conduits with a nanopolymer. Only then is it safe to start the warp engines.
DIAZ: ok do it.
DIAZ: meanwhile I'll prepare a report for Commander Damen.
Diaz:EA help me over here will you?
EA: yes commander what can I do for you?
Diaz: can you check the status of the plasma injectors?
EA: yes, right awaay.
the assistant moved to a console to input the information
EA: plasma injectors are functioning normally
*Diaz thinks to himself: hmm.. can't be the injectors so what could it be? oh I know!*
Diaz: can you check the plasma modulation
the assistant then checks the computer
EA: plasma deviation is at 49%
Diaz: in your opinion could that hinder warp speed?
EA: in my opinion?
Diaz: yea
EA: well.. no, not at this level
Diaz: ok let's check the matter/antimatter reaction
*they both enter the fighter's engine compartment*
*and continue to input data*
the reaction process was being slowed and Diaz could not tell why
Diaz:what if we try to replace the Deuterium
EA: I'll go get the necessary supply from cargo bay 2
Diaz: ok, hurry back
the assistant left for Cargo Bay 2
