Back before T'lana joined Starfleet, she was working for the intelligence office of Vulcan Security (V'Shar), who commissioned a stealth surveillance/reconnaissance craft to be constructed in order to gather intelligence from the Romulan Star Empire.
Subcommander T'lana, was ordered to design and build the most advanced stealth shuttle ever built in the whole of the Alpha and Beta quadrants of the Milkyway Galaxy.
Two Vulcan years later, T'lana presented the V'Shar with the plans to the prototype Stealth Reconnaissance vessel.
Dubbed the Kelata after an ancient Gallifreyan blessing, it took a further three years to complete construction.
