The Romulans bust into the Armory.

"No, it's a trap! They're --"

The Romulans drop dead from phaser fire.

(OFF: You read my mind.)

Will whips out a tricorder and scans through the door.

"There's Centurions right outside this door. At least a dozen."

Will ponders for a moment, then goes to the console to activate the training holodeck behind them.

"If we can get them to go deep enough onto the holodeck, we can sneak around them, leave the holodeck, and lock them in."

Will activates a 19th century San Francisco program and the 4 men run inside.

*Vorak looks at the viewscreen and sees that captain Sanchez is right... The battle is over, the Romulans are either disabled or retreating. Only the station was still partly in the hands of the Romulans now.*

=^= Admiral Vorak to the Task Force Fleet =^=
Congratulations on your achievement. You have all fought more than commendable. The station, however, is still not fully under our control. I have lowered the station's shields from the engineering department. Please form away teams and beam down on several locations, so that we can retake control of Deep Space 12 easier and faster, and force the remaining Romulans to surrender.

The SEV Paladin takes as last ship position in the battle formation, and heads toward the Romulan ships... Soon the Paladin opens fire, causing some considerable damage to a few Romulan ships, until one of the warbirds decides to hunt the Paladin down. Having a warbird on her tail, the Paladin sets immediate course to some other Romulan warbird formation.
This may have seemed a suicide maneuvre, but it was not so: the Romulan warbird on the Paladin's back could not open fire without risking to hit one of their own ships, and the Romulan warbird formation in front had the same problem. Besides, the Romulan formation was already occupied with the USS Evolution.
The SEV Paladin then makes  the mistake, however, to head inside the Romulan formation, as the USS Evolution just decides to head out of it, and the two ship barely miss each other... and while the USS Evolution retreats, the SEV Paladin now finds itself surrounded by four powerful Romulan warbirds...

"Indeed, Mr. Hedford, I believe they will welcome every help we can offer them. Target all weapon arrays to the nearest Romulan vessels. It appears that 3 Romulan ships remain in orbit around the station. Clearly, they must intend to guard this station rather than head out to attack our ships. Most clever, this way they will prevent our people from capturing the station further."

Vorak pushes some buttons and activates some larger viewscreen in engineering. The viewscreen displays everything that goes on outside the station - the entire battle with the Romulans.
It shows how the USS Evolution is chased down by Romulan ships and is taken under heavy fire, and how the USS Phoenix goes to the rescue and is intercepted by another decloaking Romulan vessel.

"There are more Romulan vessels than anticipated. This is certainly not to our advantage."

"That risk is too high, Mr. Huw. We cannot transport anyone inside, or outside this engineering area of the station. That would require us to take down the energy field around engineering, even if it is only for one second. But it is exactly what the Romulans are waiting for, and hoping for us to do. We cannot give them the chance they are waiting for.
Mr. Hedford, fire onto the nearest ships orbitting the station first."

Vorak was right, that was pretty good...

*Huw arrives at the bridge to find the door locked*

RomulanCommander: Stupid Federation Pig, you will never take me alive!!!

Huw: True, but it doesnt stop me trying,
*huw fires at the commander, but he dodges it*
Huw: your good, but not as good as me

Romulan: Hahaha! *The Romulan pulls out a batleth*
Huw: Oh good, a sword fight, i am so looking forward to this!

*Cue the cool blade fight music, Huw draws his katana, the romulan lunges at him, huw manages to parry the blow and slice into the romulans arm, but he doesnt flinch, the romulan spinning kicks huw and floors him*

Romulan: You forget, i am a commander, you are an ensign, i am more experienced!

Huw: And you forget, never try to gloat

*Huw slices with his sword, the romulan screams in pain and falls backwards, but his legs stay where they are, as they are no longer a part of him*

Huw: hehe

*Huw quickly dermo regenerates the skin to stop the bleeding*

Romulan: *cough splutter* Ok, maybe we could negotiate...

Huw: Call off your men and i might let you live...

Romulan: *flips out a communicator* This is your commander speaking, lay down your weapons and surrender, we will not be harmed

Huw: very good

Romulan: We had a deal?

The ASC Revox heads for the Romulan ships about to fire on the USS Evolution, and opens fire... Some Romulan ships explode heavily, others are totally disabled and dead in the water...

"Good job! Now scan for other problems!"

Operations: "A ship that goes under the name MEV Paladin is heavily damaged and dead in the water. It's surrounded by several Romulan warbirds that are about to destroy the ship!"

Ardwyad: "Head for the MEV Paladin, take those Romulans out!"

Again, the ASC Revox concentrates its firepower on the Romulan warbirds. Some more of their ships explode, others are trying to evade the unexpected firepower of the Revox - of a type they had never seen before and were not prepared for - but in vain, and they explode too... The MEV Paladin was saved by a matter of moments...

Ardwyad: "Good! Good! What else have we got?"

Operations: "Nearby the station, some other ships are being attacked... the USS New Orleans, USS Phoenix and USS Tiberon!"

Ardwyad: "Target the Romulan ships that are attacking them, and open fire - FULL SPREAD!"

And the ASC Revox, Delta Alliance security vessel, opened fire on the surprised Romulan warbirds, causing considerable damage...

They surprisingly did as they were told. All they were carrying was a tricorder.

Karelia, Nismos, and Huw meet Walker at the Armory entrance.

"Good to see you made it, Commander."

They enter the armory to find 3 Romulans hovering over a Compression Rifle on the lab table.

Romulan: "Get them!"

"Great..."

They all take cover behind crates and begin to take out the Romulans one by one, until they are all unconcsious.

"Ok, grab some rifles and hand phasers, enough for everyone to have a phaser and a rifle. Huw, I assume your t-buffer can hold them all?"

*meanwhile Ru afo and Parker were searching the corridor surrounding one of the cargo bays about two levels below engineering*

*while they were walking around looking for Romulans and carrying their rifles they were engaging in small talk*

Parker: so what do you think of your time here?

Ru'afo: I don't know it could be worse.
Parker: worse?, how about if we were the ones being hunted?
Ru'afo: well, yea then maybe but our base always seems to be getting attacked, doesn't it?
Parker: yeah, I guess so, but only because we are so open.

*they were walking by conduits and adjacent corridors*
Ru'afo: you check out that side (pointing to the hall) I'll check this side okay?
Parker: sure.... all clear
Ru'afo: clear here too

Parker: so what about the New Orleans?
Ru'afo: what about it?
Parker: well, I mean do you like your post?
Ru'afo: oh yeah! it's great! I couldn't be happier
Parker: that's cool

*they came to an open hatch and a  storage bay door that was stuck open*

Ru'afo: what the ####?
Parker: (looking at the control pad) it's been busted open
Ru'afo: Let's go in!
Parker: right behind you

*Ru'afo and Parker rushed in swapping positions and shifting side to side covering each other's line of fire*

Ru'afo: (from his angle he could see something in the corner) *too dark to make out a shape*
Parker: I'm going in! (he quickly turned the corner *he was hiding behind a storage barrel*)
Ru'afo: Parker! watch out don't..

*just then the dark figure shot out a blast from his hand-held disruptor*

Parker: ahhh, Ru'a... *he let out a loud cry*
*he had been hit in the chest*
*as soon as the Romulan shot, Ru'afo returned fire striking the Romulan in the chest, stunning him*

"You've invaded our space, and we've tolerated it. You've attacked our vessels, and we've tolerated it. But enough is enough!"

Will's thumb slowly descends toward the trigger of the phaser. He hesitates for several seconds before lowering the weapon.

"And if I ever see you in this area of space again, I will not hesitate have your vessels destroyed on sight. With a disgusted tone: Now get off my station..."

"Look!" he says.

The team look at the screen just long enough to see the Sequoia ram a Romulan ship, destroying herself in the process. He quickly collapses into unconsciousness.

Ardwyad: "Good, good! Now the one on the left there!"
*The ASC Revox opens fire again, and suddenly shudders under impact when a Romulan warbird fires from behind.*
Ardwyad: "Fire aft weaponry!"
*And before the Romulan warbird can fire again, it is already disabled...
The ASC Revox continues to fire, and soon the Federation ships end up having no opponent to fight any more...*
Ardwyad: "What's that? Where are all those Romulans?"
Comm One: "I will put them on screen, but it seems they are taking their distance."
*Ardwyad smiles.*
"So they have decided to flee... Let them go, so they can tell their superiors it isn't a good idea to attack when Starfleet and the Delta Alliance join forces."
Comm One: "Aye, sir."
*The last Romulan warbirds that were still capable of warp, depart the battle field and run away as fast as they can... and only the few disabled Romulan ships remain, around the station.*

I believe so let me check *walks over to the main console*  blast! they've already locked down controls. I could reroute secondary systems and access the terminals without any indication of doing so, the only problem will come from internal sensors they will shut down automatically for 5 minutes at that time we can roam the corridors without detection. About being able to transport off the bridge, I don't think that they will want to leave, besides they have a tactical advantage from the bridge, since it is one of the strongest areas of the station.

Mr. Huw, stun all Romulans present in engineering."

Vorak touches some buttons on his own panel, and immediately all the doors close down and are being locked, and a forcefield erects around the entire engineering area. He then turns around, takes his weapon and fires at any Romulan who wishes to intervene with his task.

OFF: windows ME? Well that platform is a problem itself. I suggest you either upgrade to XP (if your computer is recent enough to run it well) or else downgrade to Win 98 SE. I also suggest you avoid IE6 at all costs, its not because its newer, that its better (as always with Microsoft products). I myself use Win98SE with IE5.5 on a 99Mhz PI computer and 64 Mb Ram, and that gives me no problems in speed. ;) Good luck.

"Once engineering is taken, Mr. Nismos, we must instantly reroute all control there, and shut every other computer panel on the station out, so that no Romulan has any more access.
Secondly, we must lock all entrance to engineering so they cannot try to overtake us again - or at least not any time soon.
Thirdly, we must erect a transport inhibitor field around engineering, so that they cannot try to beam us out - not even with the transporter facilities of their ships.
And finally, we perform a surprise attack from the station to the surrounding Romulan ships. They will not be prepared for this, and that will be to our advantage - their shields will be down and they will be in close orbit around the station to have a full effect from our firepower. At that moment, our fleet must already be alarmed with a transmission signal that they must appear at once and open fire as well."

*Turns to the right console and sits down*

Hedford began to prepare the communications-array to send a message to all Federation-ships. His actions were not allowed to alert the present Romulans onboard the station, so every step he made was already taken in consideration in his mind. During the proces, Hedford looked at Admiral Vorak who was staring at his own console. The admiral was, as always, totaly in control of the situation. Like a vulcan, he didn't express any emotion, you coulnd't see tension nor was he anxious. Hedford was wondering if he had this switch, because he was feeling some kind of pressure. Tough he didn't let it to be noticed by the other officers. Hedford loved the action, he was a real thrill-seeker. He had been in many combat-actions, only this time it was different. There was this unknown feeling, the feeling that he was being watched, his actions were very important for the continuing of the mission. So was that the reason of this strange feeling? Hedford suddenly stopped and snapped out of his thoughts, he concentrated on the screen. He had configured the array and had made the possibility of sending a message to all Federation ships, possible. The message was ready to be sent, without the Romulans noticing. The attack would be a total suprise, which was a good advantage.

"Admiral Vorak, the message is ready to be sent. The Romulans will not notice the transmission at all, the only thing they will see is our fleet aiming at their heads"

Hedford smiled and awaited Admiral Voraks reaction
