Zaphan punched the security code into the computer interface terminal and initiated the cold-start sequence.
The engines flared into life...

"Taurik, could you monitor the Impulse flow, it must be at 23 gigajoules before I can engage the subspace induction."

The Drak'kai lifted off the stardock slowly but surely and rose into the atmosphere.

The ageing freighter shuddered a little, as Taurik noted the Impulse flow regulator was generating 22 gigajoules and rising further toward the desired amount.

Taurik drew his energy blade, at the same time realizing that even he could not hope to advance alone against a Loxian battalion, renewed with even more infantry and armor reinforcements.

He tracked Commander Baphomet in the Kelata by her mental signature, and performed an almost impossible feat. He leapt high into the air, landing almost perfectly on top of the Kelata. The Vulcan attack craft flew quickly over the Loxian regiment, and Taurik jumped from the shuttle and landed into the thick of the enemy battalion.

Brandishing his energy blade, Taurik quickly relieved the nearest soldiers from the burden of their waists with a single swipe. He then made a powered jump onto the top of a battle tank and used his blade to cut open the cockpit and forcibly remove the driver, tossing his telekinetically into his friends on the ground.

After dropping to the ground, Taurik found himself surrounded by more than a dozen heavily armed troopers all aiming their weapons at him. He pondered for a short moment, and resolved to summon a psionic shockwave that threw the newly lifeless corpses to the ground many meters away.

The Avenger moves away from the Kelata and proceeds to maximally sublight speed and catch the Starfleet vessel now decending down to the planets surface at excessive high speeds.

"ETA to tractor beam range?" Dyien asked the Science Officer.

"22.3 seconds at max speed."

"Divert power from Inert Dampers to sublight engines."

"Done Sir. Speed increase by a factor of 25 percent."

<11 seconds later>

The Ionized Tractor beam locks onto the Starfleet Vessel and slows the decent to the surface of the planet. The shuttle bangs the planets surface lightly.

"Dyien, to Starfleet Vessel, need a lift to the battlefield?"

*Zayan sees the guards go flying and is addressed by a Loxian who is very much not a Loxian by what she had just seen. The voice sounds like that of Sanchez' friend so she is inclined to believe him. Zayan gets her cell mates and those in nearby cells to stand up. Going to the door of the cell she closes her eyes. Using her fingers she feels for the emergency latch. Upon finding it Zayan goes into a meditative trance with a low humming. An electric charge protecting the latch goes off, but she pushes the pain away and manages to trigger the latch on the first try. The latch triggered, the electric charge stops and the door opens. She takes a moment to steady herself and walks over to one of the wall pannels. Opening the pannel she rips out a few of the wires that control the locking mechanisms on all cell doors. Sparks fly all over and loud clicks are heard as every door is unlocked.*

Those of you who are able to move help those that are not able to. Head for the exits, I can only give you a bit of time before they reactivate the security. There should be weapon lockers in the room left of every exit, grab what you can. They will be needed.

*Seeing the rest of the prisoners off she looks at her companions: Zaphan, Airis, and Taurik.*

*Zayan points in the opposite direction of the fleeing prisoners.*

"Let us depart immediately."

They move toward the hangar, stealthily dispatching any guards on the route. Taurik stands watch as the two Loxians and the Starfleet doctor board the freight vessel. Taurik himself boards, and walks to the cockpit where Zayan and Zaphan are.

"We must leave soon. Suspicion is arising, and I doubt the diagnostic program will continue much longer."

*Seeing Taurik was being surrounded bye loxian soldiers the soldiers kept hemming in on him wave after wave, Blaze thought it would be tactically wise to make a door for the Taurik should he need it in the infantry lines, Blaze and Ardeth raised there rifles in a kneeling position still using the hill as cover they opened fired there rifles were pumping out multiple phaser fire as the rifles were set for burst mode and mowed down as many of the infantry as possible then began tossing grenades to there flanks, the blast from the grenades had the same effect as the quantom launchers except on a smaller scale the troops stood there stunned afraid to go forward and meet the same fate as there comrades while there commanders were urging them forward, a single shot from Blaze's rifle sent one of the infantry commanders to there death which reinforced the fear in the loxian infantry*

While the Avenger is hovering high over the freighter, Dyien uses the transporters to transport both Nonir and Ftima to the frieghter before moving off to a safe distance of 100 klicks to the south-south west.

"After I leave, cloaked the Avaenger. Prepare to transport me to close to the Freighter."

"Aye sir. One moment please."

Within seconds, Dyien disappeared into a haze of orange light and re aooeared close to Baphomet location.

Taurik was hoisted to his feet as the dropship descended into the hangar bay just below the surface. The engines spool down, and the guards begin to lead him into the compound. As he gets into the detention block, he spots General Zayan and another Loxian in captivity. Giving Zayan a slight glance, he lets loose a small psionic burst, knocking both of his guard escorts to the floor, unconscious.

"General, I am Captain Taurik of Starfleet. We must exfiltrate this compound immediately."

*Zayan takes a seat feeling a bit tired from all the running and the jaring of her broken arm. She gets a sharp pain shooting up her spine and lets out a scream. Zayan then feels like she is sitting in something wet. Gritting her teeth from the pain she manages to speek.*

We need to get out of here now! The compounds anti-air defenses will be back online at any moment.

*Another wave of pain goes through Zayan's body and a second scream slips out of her lips.*

"Well, Malcolm. I promised I would let you die in your own fashion. So here it is."

*Ardeth fiddled around with the launchers then they got up in there same positions again but this time fired on the tanks that came in, Blaze's shot went towards the front line of the tanks destroying about 3 tanks from his shot. Ardeth aimed for the rear, stopping there tank reinforcements dead the wreckage made it almost impossible for the other tanks to move*

"Well, that was fun."

*Blaze took out his rifle and set it for wide beam rapid fire mode and used the hill for cover, he aimed at the largest group of Loxian soldiers and fired his rifle. With the blast it wounded and killed the entire group, what morale the Loxian troops have is begining to fade*

*Ardeth went over to survey the carnage of the fight and noticed his brother was no where to be found, he searched more and found his brother laying amoungst the loxian soldiers clutching several of them in his embrace, dead from many phaser wounds, he had gotten his revenge on the corrupted loxian soldiers and died in his own honorable way*

*After packing there gear, Blaze went over and guarded the entrance way into the freighter ensuring no one entered except for Taurik and Sanchez*

"I have to get to him Taurik." *Then Blaze rushed off threw the ship to the back entrance, then rushed across the plains to Ardeths position*

"You NEVER! carry a powerpack with you huh Ardeth. *shakes head*, here <Hands a powerpack to Ardeth>."

*Blaze shoots several Loxian soldiers dead, then threw a couple Quantom Grenades and took out half of the first wave of Loxian soldiers*

"Gotta love those grenades."

**Vulcan Suttle Kelata**

Baphomet could wait no longer for the other shuttles, due to the fact the Loxian Attack shuttles were almost upon them.

She set up the Shitdrive so as to make a 'jump' behind the Loxian Shuttles, while doing so the Loxian Shuttles began an attack decent.
Baphomet engaged the Shift Drive, but something unexpected happened during the exit sequence, one of the loxian shuttles miss calculated their decent vector and bumped the side of the Shift-portal, causing a flux in the Gravimetric sheer as the portal came in contact with their shields.

The Loxian Attack Shuttle ws obliterated, taking out several other shuttles in it's destruction.
The Kelata rocked, due to plasma from the destroyed Loxian Shuttle seeping into the intake vents for the Kelata's Zero Point Energy Converter.

COMPUTER: WARNING, QUANTUM MATRIX IN ZERO POINT ENERGY CONVERTER DISRUPTED.
INITIATING EMERGENCY SHUT-DOWN AND RESTART SEQUENCE.
SHUT DOWN COMPLETE.

The Kelata lost power, tumbling out of control, Baphomet hurriedly making adjustments and making sure the ZPE-C was clean of plasma.
The Kelata was almost to the ground when the Zero Point Energy Converter restarted, the Kelata regained full power and initiated a full power climb, scraping the ground with the shields.

Forgetting herself for a minute, said out loud to an empty ship:
"Hmm it might be logical not to try that again...so close anyway..."

If anyone with her with a keen eye, would of noticed a slight embaressment on her face for an instant, then was gone.

Once she did a quick study of the readouts, Baphomet took the ship back into the battle.

It was like nothing at all had happened to the Kelata as Baphomet took the remarkable vessel back into the fight.
The Kelata at the insistance of Baphomet fired all the weapons at her disposal.

All the remaining Battle Tanks errupted into flames, taking a many of the ground troops in the process.

Swinging around and dodging the attacking Loxian Shuttles, the Kelata handled with Vulcan perfection taking out every Attack Shuttle one at a time.

Even though some of the attacking shuttles fired and occasionally hit the Kelata, she suffered no damage what so ever as the enemy exploded around her as well.

Baphomet wondered why the Kelata had suffered damage before and not now, even the intakes for the ZPE-C should not have even taken in plasma at all, but one of the readouts gave her the reason; one of the subroutines for the intake had an error in the code line.

All this had taken her only three seconds as she brought the Kelata around to face the approaching Loxian forces and fired the rest of the remaining Quantum torpedoes.

"Malcolm, if you choose to live I would be honored if you joined me. Perhaps I can help you the way I helped your brother. But as I said its your choice wether to die or not, but if you choose to live you can choose to try and help the loxian people and then that would be a good way for you to feel human again. But the way you were treated will never go away for certian, all you can do is try to fix the past and look forward to the future. That is also a choice if you choose. But its your call."

*Blaze Fired his launcher at the same time Ardeth did. The quantum blast injured and killed around 100 loxian soldiers before they both reloaded there launchers again for another hectic blast wave. Tho during the aftermath of the blast the remaining soldiers were afraid to approach the hill as another blast hits there center line killing another 100 from the blast*

"Well, Captain. That should buy us some time. Ardeth reload the launchers. We may need to reinforce there morale."

OOC**I figured sense we use quantum torpedoes why not make a launcher for it for a soldier

. Besides I liked the AOE of it :P

**Vulcan Shuttle Kelata**

Baphomet, noticed that the Avenger went after the stricken Shuttle, so in the mean time she switched weapons over to the Meson canons.

She then took off after the Loxian Battle tanks who were the ones too close to the ditched freighter and opened fire.

The Tanks were bombarded by Meson pulses, the resulting gravimetric effect neutralised the molecular bonding in the tanks, causing then to be crushed under their own weight.

One of the Tank drivers who had jumped out of the vehicle to run away, got caught by one of the Meson pulses and to his surprise, was reduced to a jelly like consistancy of biomatter sludge.

Baphomet continued firing on the tanks until they had all been crushed under their own weight and as she had finished, the next wave of Loxian Attack Shuttles had arrived.

The Kelata cloaked as Baphomet brought it around to get ready to attack the on coming enemy vessels that were still out of range of the freighter, so she had time to gather the other vessels.

**VSS Kelata**

Baphomet took the Kelata into a curved assault pattern around the Loxian ships and fired.
several of the shuttles tried to hem the Kelata in as Baphomet fired the last of the Quantum torpedoes from the AFT and Fore launchers several of the torpedoes hit and took out their painted prey while others wildly went to the ground, accidently taking out 1000 troops on the ground.

Baphomet raied her left eyebrow in interest as she fired the Meson canons at the rest of the shuttles, taking out 10 in the barrage of Gravitic pulses.
The remainder of the shuttles in desperation fired on the Avenger and the Kelata, reducing the Kelata's shields to 70%.
Several of the control relays blew and the Ablative Armor Generator shut down.
Baphomet ignored the warning klaxons and continued to fire the Meson canons at the remainder of the shuttles.

Between the Avenger and the Kelata, all the Loxian Attack Shuttles were destroyed, with sensors showing no more on the way.

Zaphan frowned at Mark, but nodded.

"I will try."

Zaphan went to the prone Captain Sanchez and tryed to drag him out of the medbay. complaining all the way.

"*mumbling* Getting orders from some upstart Starfleet officer, on board my own ship, now I have to drag a Captain that can't stand such a natural thing as birth...Oh Yazay, what did I do wrong in life...HA?"

Zaphan managed to get Captain Sanchez out of the medbay and into an ajoining compartment.

She then let him go and went to the replicator...

"Computer, tumbler of cold water."

The replicator flared into life and created a tall tumbler full of icy water.
Zaphan grabbed the tumbler and went back to where she had left the expectant father.
Once there, Zaphan tipped the icy water on Sanchez's head, waking him up immediately.
After placing the tumbler back into the Replicator slot and ordering it to recycle the tumbler.
Zaphan then returned to Sanchez, who was shocked, agry and bemused all at the same time.

"Awake now Captain Sanchez?"

Zaphan stood over him holding out her hand to help lift him up, all the while with a cheeky grin on her face.

"Grab hold so it doesn't fall. I don't want guards on my tail." Ardeth said, making a slight joke out of it. He widened and thinned the beam, then decreased its power drastically to keep it on the metallic item. He then checked his aim, and readied himself to burn through it.

"Um, I've never been in a starship before." Malcolm said, as Ardeth got the kids out of the underbrush.

"Must you two complain about my brother like that?! He's not evil, just misunderstood. He was tortured and left there to die, feeding on the prisoners because he had that as a choice or a very slow, painful death." Ardeth said, about to take one of the kids and growl angrily as he had his ear yanked by one of them. He didn't know the child couldn't grip his cloak, and kept sliding, each time pulling a rather sensitive ear further. "You know, I don't fancy missing an ear like my brother. If you can't grab my cloak, wrap your arms around my neck lightly till we get on board. No, you do not pull my whiskers. And please, let go of my head. I can't see with your hands over my eyes!" Ardeth said. Malcolm came to save Ardeth from the kids by grasping his ungloved hand and helping him onboard, the kid covering his eyes to keep him from seeing.

*Blaze just watched a shuttle destroy the tanks and wished he could get one of those weapons tranformed into a Pulse rifle*

*Ardeth fired the Mortar tanking out a few hundred infantry while Blaze fired at the location where Taurik is in hopes to give him a back door out*

As the Avenger continues the attack designation, the Loxian tried there best at hammering down the shields but the shields strenght wass decrease by only 3.5 percent.

As the Avenger moved to zero point one two five, Dyien ordered the Selton to open fire on the 3 remaining shuttles with all pulse and ion banks. 2 of the 3 shuttles went down in a flaming fire and exploded on impact of the surface.

The last remaining shuttle took moderate damaged and opened fire on the Avenger causing slight damage. Before the Avenger could open fire, 2 Anti-Aircraft missles impacted on the shields, decreasing the shields strenght to 77 % and cause minor damage to the exhaust ports.

"Evasive manuvers, located and fire full spread of torpedoes at the Anti-Aircraft batteries location."

*While everyone is fighting to defend Zaphan's cargo ship from the Loxian government forces, the shuttle of Sanchez had safely landed some distance away from the ship's location. But it had not proceeded entirely unnoticed, because the Loxian groundforces had seen an unauthorized landing on their radars, and began searching the area. Unable to hide the shuttle, Sanchez had no choice but to leave it and seek hiding. It took long until the Loxian forces gave up finding any intruders, and for Sanchez to safely come out of his hiding place. Carefullly, he made his way to Zaphan's cargo ship, and saw that the Loxian government forces were surrounding it. Sanchez sought himself a good hiding spot from where he could target anyone, and in an unexpected attack, he began to open fire on the Loxian government soldiers. At first, they were surprised, and didn't know where it had come from, but after a few shots, they realized where it came from, and Sanchez had to move location to prevent from being fired upon himself, whereafter he repeated the same tactic. When they were on to him again, he had no choice but to throw himself into the battlefield and fire at the Loxian soldiers as much as he could. *Zayan sighs, half in relief and half in dread. Keeping an eye on the guards, she tells her tale.*

What I am about to tell you of my past will quickly disillusion you and your ideas of how great a person I am. Being that we may not have much time, I will tell only the basics of it. To sum it up in 5 words: I was one of them.

*Zayan holds up a hand discreetly as a guard walked by.*

Not by choice, as you may well know. When I came of age, and being the eldest child, they came and took me from my family. I was raised in the Government institution and trained in their military.

*She chuckles and tears begin to form in her eyes.*

I was one of their best students. As one of the best I was appointed to be one of the leaders for the class exam. I will never forget the exam or rather the Massacre at Tazay's Temple. Those from the local villages who were still faithful to Tazay were going to the temple for prayers, prayers to be delivered from the Government's oppression. The exam was a test to see how loyal to the government we where. We were given weapons and demolition equipment, and marched off to Tazay's Temple. At the entrance of the temple we formed ranks and opened fire on all the people outside. Men, women, children and entire families were killed without a thought. Some managed to run into the temple and close the doors. We left the dead and dying where they were and began to tear down the temple with the demolition equipment. No one inside survived, the only thing that remained unbroken was Tazay's statue. The villagers who did not go to Tazay's Temple were made the labour force to remove the ruins of the temple. We oversaw the work, and punished those who did not do as they were told. Some..... Some of them were made into examples for the others.

*With her good hand Zayan wipes the tears from her eyes.*

The remains of the ruins were eventually lost along their way to a pulverizing plant. Government Intel found out that a rebel had taken them. A rebel named Zentox.

Yes the Temple of Tazay on Vontak Nor is the same temple, the dark red spots the blood of those I massacred.

I eventually ran into Zentox during a training exercise, taking down a rebel ship. I was an up coming Government General at that time. I was always one for a challenge so once the rebel ship was dead in space I went over for a head trophy. I saw the rebel crew laying all over the ship, I only saw one who was still alive. It was Zentox, the commander of the rebel ship. He was in bad shape and was about to die. I ended up talking with him and he opened my eyes. I ended up leaving him there, but when I got back to Loxius I started searching for answers to questions. That is when I discovered that my family was at Tazay's Temple during the massacre. They were identified as being killed by my weapon. I started to dig deeper into what was actually going on in the Government. I knew too much and was becoming a danger to their system so was exiled when they caught me in the act of looking where I shouldn't have been.

*Now that a Loxian knew her biggest secret she felt a weight lift off her soul.*

*The group came to a door and Zayan kicked it open. Walking swiftly she hits the single guard in the head with her weapon. knocking the guard unconsious.

She is young yet and doesn't know any better than to do what she is told.

*Zayan moves the guard asside and looks at the control pannel. She enters the program code and is asked for a confirmation access code. Pulling up her sleave Zayan shows her wrist to a scanning device. After a few seconds the words 'Error incorrect access code entered' show up on the screen '4 seconds to total lock down. Enter confirmation access code to avert lockdown.' She grabs the guard's arm and rips the sleave off. Zayan then puts the guard's wrist on the scanner. The screen shows 'lockdown averted. Program running.'*

Ok we can head to the hanar now, but we won't have much time to get into the air before the systems are back online.

*She points to their location and to where the hangar is on a wall pannel.*

Dyien commence the transport of the Federation officers onboard the ship. Transporting the injuried Starfleet officer to the Med Lab and the other to the bridge.

Within seconds there was an orange blur of light and Lieutenant Nonir was on the bridge. Dyien turned to him.

"Welcome aboard Lieutenant, to the OSS Avenger"

Dyien turns to the helm officer. "Bring us to 150 meters from surface and head for the last location detected by the sensorof the Kelata.

"Aye Dyien."

As the Avenger lifts off, it starts to trumble from hits to the starborn side. Being nearly 45 meters with and double in lenght, it was still powerful. Alarms start to go off at many stations.

"Report."

"Loxian shuttles now in range, They are firing on us. Minor damage to hull."

"Return fire, full power. Return power to stablize Inert Dampers to normal."

<VSS Kelata>

The Kelata and the Avenger, went in for the kill on the ground troops, who panic and ran wildly, firing everywhere and anywhere with no decernable target in mind.

Baphomet targeted a group that was trying, to reach the freighter as fast as they could and fired the Meson canons.

The Meson pulses hit all of their marks, obliterating them and moved on to the next group doing the same.

The battle was over as the ones that were not hit by the Meson canons of the Kelata, or the Pulse canons of the Avenger, had surrendered with no sign of reinforcements in sight, they were out matched and out gunned.

Loxians are courageous but not suicidal, so they tossed their weapons to the ground and held up their hands, the Kelata's sensors registered but 50 soldiers out of the 100,000 strong forces tring to reach the freighter.

"your assistance is much appreciated Dyien, if you would like I shall meet you on the surfice near the freighter."

Baphomet put the Kelata down near the freighter, deactivating the shields, on the way.
Touching down at an LZ at a respective distance from the freighter, the powerful engines of the Vulcan Kelata class Interceptor Attack Shuttle, powered down to standby mode.

Baphomet exited the Kelata and made her way to Captain Taurik...

Baphomet brought the Kelata to along side the Avenger and decloaked, aiming the Meson canons at the offending Loxian vessel and fired.

The Loxian shuttle was pounded by several Meson pulses, the ship imploded as it dropped to the ground, and reduced itself to plasma.

He pulled off the dark armor and cast it into his old travel pack, and pulled out the plugs on the gloves, feeling the energy flow to him again. He then pulled off the cloak, showing he had metal that was sporadically covered with light gold color, but more silver. He had the same color fur as Malcolm: night black. His muscle was less severe, but that was cause Ardeth had a few square meals in him, while Malcolm was rail thin and muscular from having to wrench doors open, pull up the floor-boards, and hunt for food. Ardeth's resemblance was nearly the same, except Malcolm's beastly looks were greater.

Zaphan still in engineering, was cursing under her breath and kicking the shield array control generator.
The damn thing just wouldn't work, she spent minutes checking to see if the Sarium Krellide powercells connected to the shields were charged, yes that wasn't the problem, so she checked the componants for any damage, no that wasn't the problem either.

Frustrated with the unit, Zaphan was about to give up but decided to give the unit one more swift kick and walk away, when the Shield generator flared into life.
Outside the vessel, the shields kicked away some of the dirt and surrounded the other parts that were too thick and therefore seemed to be part of the Freighter.

Zaphan exclaimed in relief and peasure at conquering such a stubborn piece of equipement, even though the indicators showed the shield strength at 20%, at least it was something in the way of protection.

Zaphan ran to the Bridge, stopping on the way to see if Zayan was okay.

"How are you Zayan?...Hang on, where is you Vulcan midwife? Oh Frell, Taurik's outside isn't he? Just when I got the shields working, typical male."

The Avenger and the Kelata took off and began the asigned attack sequences.

The Kelata was hit with several volleys from the Loxians, with only the shields being reduced by 1%.

The Kelata then began firing the Meson canons, striking the first Loxian vessel sending it streight down, to the ground forces, killing a few of them.

The Kelata then continued on to the next and then the next reducing them to their basic molecules and plasma, as more and more fell under the Kelata and the Avenger it was obvious that the Loxians were no match for these two advanced vessels.

By this time, word had been spread of Colonel Woltax's death. Taurik had abandoned the colonel's uniform in the stead of some civilian clothing. He had managed to gather some information on Compound 23 before the military had closed Woltax's access account on the Loxian info-net. The area was highly restricted, surrounded by a 100-kilometer no-fly-zone. This meant he would have to forcibly hijack transportation to make his way there. It took him a while, but he found a civilian transportation center, where there were several shuttlecraft of personal and commercial nature, both large and small. Taurik realized a flight would take too long to reach Zathia, and that he needed to be there very soon.

Using his psionic ability to augment his speed, Taurik ran past the gate guards, and leapt aboard a parked military dropship. He quickly keyed an ignition sequence, but the console gave a negative tone. He bent over to remove the paneling under the pilot's console, and spliced a few wires to bypass the security lockouts. After keying the same ignition sequence, the ships engines roared to life.

Several guards had already made their way onto the ship, but Taurik had already lifted off. Suddenly, he realized he had miscalculated his plan. The compound was sure to have powerful air defenses, and he would be shot down immediately. However, those guards could be his ticket in.

He kept the ship on course, at full speed, until the guards were able to cut open the cockpit door. He then turned around and dropped to his knees as the guards readied their weapons.

"I'm sorry!" Taurik exclaimed, while influencing the guards' minds. "I didn't want to, but they forced me! The rebels forced me to steal a ship for them! Please, don't hurt me!"

The guard grabbed Taurik by the arm and yanked him to his feet, tossing him into the aft troop compartment. "Save it! We'll deal with you like we do all the other rebel traitors!"

Taurik tried his best to hide his contentment as the dropship changed course to Military Lockdown Compound 23.

He was with me when it happened." Ardeth whispered. He lifted the kids up, and took them outside. Ardeth growled at them, making them quiet down and stay, fearing the worst of this Cat-Creature who looked so much like the one that had come in with them, and turned sides against them. Ardeth's soft footsteps had a cat's grace, as he searched for some sign of the Hybrid. "I remember my Blood Hungers before, but this is ridiculous, even for a Hybrid. I only killed what I needed to live, couple animals every week, but to kill a human is purely an animal's work." he said, pacing slightly. He knew he'd never kill a human for no reason, because he knew he was part human. Though his animal side raged and fueled him with pure hatred energy for a normal increase in strength.

"Whoever did this is more animal than human." he growled out. The children shivered with fear, seeing this creature who was so reminiscent of the one who murdered their mother. Ardeth hoped Blaze could handle them. He'd always hated kids. Robots didn't normally backtalk, listened to everything, stayed silent till spoken to, and didn't stink. "If I see that Hybrid, I will lose my temper. I'll need you, Blaze, to restrain me so I don't go ballistic."

Malcolm hadn't expected this. "I'll join you, so long as you keep Ardeth and I together. I wish my revenge against these loxians for their torture of me, locking me in that room without any food suitable for me to eat, and waiting for me to kill off people when my blood hunger peaked out. The both of us, Ardeth and I, get blood-hungry, but he can control it better. I don't kill people for fun, but to live."

Ardeth, however, hadn't expected this either. Ardeth knew his brother was a maniac with a thirst for blood, just from what he'd seen in that room. He knew, though, that this was brought on by years of whipping and torture. That's why Malcolm was missing fingers, scarred, and had a bad eye. Malcolm's ear was also clipped, ruining some of his hearing. However, he had a super-keen sense of smell. "Ardeth, are you metallic as well? Something doesn't smell right about you. Too much metal. I know you lost your legs, but I thought that was it. I see you've still got your tail. I do, however, know that you have wounds on your arm, unless you are cybernetic from your duels." Malcolm said, knowing he could smell the extra metal on Ardeth.

Ardeth shrugged off the question. "Your questions shall be answered later."

Zaphan woke to a clunking sound and the bradges Intruder alert signal soung off.

"I don't believe this, intruders on my ship and they didn't even have the courtesy to say hello."

Zaphan went to the Bridge's Armory locker and grabed a Type Compression Rifle and Tricorder.
She headed to where the intruderss were and decieded to place the Compression Rifle on rapid fire, level 6.

She had always loved gymnastics and with her strong athletic body, was very good at it, winning many first placed awards as a young girl.

The Tricorder sounded a proximaty alert, the intruders dimensions were bigger than her but she knew that with her cat-like reflexes could easily take it.
She round the corner where the big intruder was and decided to go through a nearby ventilation duct, although the intruder was fast and obviously a warrior, but Zaphan took him down with the Compression rifle.

Back tracking, the Tricorder indicated an intruder not far from the first, at the other end of the Cargo bay.
She flipped herself up on to the Cargo bays crisscrossing gurders, flipped around many and ran across others.
The Tricorder sounded off and she took out the other intruder after several blasts from the Compression Rifle, no matter even that this next one was a little more agile than the first, with grim determination she took out anymore intruders that were on her crippled but beloved ship.

Panting, but exilerated, she went to the engineering deck to see if she could get the shields up and running, seeing as nearly everything else was offline and irrepearable.

*Another Loxian tank battlion hid themselves behind a hill as a reserve, they moved up when they were notified that the other tanks were destroyed. They took a defensive position behind a hill and began to barrage the freighter several mortar rounds from the tanks came flying in and the freighters shields began to fail under the constant barrage, Blaze saw this happening and got fed up with it, he picked up his quantum launcher and picked out the most destructive round he carried, <Blaze pets the Round he called Oblivion>, He loaded it up into the launcher and sighted in on the middle tank of the 100 tanks that moved into position, he centered it and fired it on the middle tank, the blast destroyed 5 tanks that were in range. The Aftermath had 2 effects, 1) destroyed the 5 tanks, 2) started to make the surviving tanks and soldiers begin to get so ill that they couldnt pick up there weapons to fight or control there tanks, several minutes later the Loxian soldiers began to spew and vomit there own innards as the poison ate away at there insides, making them die a slow painful death*

ON: *All of the sudden ftima wakes up. She looks a little dsorientated and dont recognize the place she is.
She can hear voices talking but cant see faces. she thinks she hears the voice of Nonir but is not sure. She doesnt have to wait for long, because Nonir walks into the room she is in.

"Robert, there you are, what happend, the only thing i remember was this big explosion........ Dr. Hannah...... Robert tell me he is allright *she looks desperate when she waits for Nonirs answer*."

<Blaze looks around and kneels picking up what looks to be a locket of a Loxian female and what appears to be her remains, also taking in the room there was desecrated bodies of Loxian males and females thrown across the room, some were pinned up like they were trophies on stakes, others looked as if they were eaten bye something. Looking over the bodies Blaze stops in front of one of them vaguely recognizes one of the bodies of a young female looking vaguely like Zayan's sister*

"Zayan wont like this when she finds out about this. These government scum might have sunk to a all time low. Government cover up most likely. We best get out of here now. Put the charges up around this prison room, we must bury them, and get revenge for this honorless massacre." Blaze then set down his pack and took out several charges set for remote detonation.

"Lets set these up." Blaze's ears picked up on what sounded like a childs voice from beneath the floor boards.

*Blaze finds a trap door that was roughly hewned and primitively hidden, inside the small confinement were 2 smaller children who were the only witness's for this slaughter*

"We will get answers later, lets get these kids away from here, lets take them outside and set up the charges." Blaze said with a growl.

IC: Zaphan had no luck with the engines what-so-ever, they were going down and going down hard, unpowered.
However she had one last trick under her sleave and even that was flimsy at best.

Zaphan quickly ran back to the bridge as fast as she could, once there she took a deep breath.

"Buckle up boys and girls, this is going to be rough; Zayan I'm sorry, but the Drak'kai's had enough and there's nothing I can Frelling do about it."

Zaphan, configured the retro-thrusters and AG generators to slow and cushion the decent.
The crippled vessel nosed into the Loxius atmosphere at a hard 45 degree angle, Zaphan doing her best to keep it steady.

She punched into the navigation sensors, the softest place to land as the Drak'kai plumeted through the icy Loxian air at 750 meters per second.
Zaphan gave a 2 minute burst from the braking thrusters, every 3 minutes to slow their decent and to compensate for the mass to air to wind thermal ratio.
The outer city plains came quicker than expected, so Zaphan adjusted the braking thrusters for continuous flame, as she also adjusted the antigravity generators for maximum effect and tried to maintain the shields to help cushion the blow.

After a moment it was all over, most of the bridge was submerged in ice and soil.
The engines were completely dead, but luckily the auxillary Sarium Krellide power cells were fully charged and maintained heating and lights, despite some of the lights flickering from burnt out relays and ruptured EPS conduits of which the fire sppression system had already under control.

Zaphan sat there waiting for her body to stop shaking and after a while, with her body and voice still shaking, activated the intercom.

"I-I-Is e-everone okay, sound off please...uh...everyone okay? Zayan?; Taurik?..."

Zaphan didn't want to risk another subspace communication is case it was picked up by the Loxian government, so she adjust the tranceiver to give of a static burst of 3 pulses repeated every three minutes.
Hoping that the Federation vessels the sensors showed in orbital combat would be able to pick it up as a destress call, but the Loxian Government would dismiss as background noise.

Zaphan did something she would never thought she would ever do and never do again, she fainted...

Ardeth's eyes glowed yellow with fury as he took his laser glove and fired a powerful burst that swept away a lot of Loxian Soldiers. He growled out, "That's for my family's honor." He cranked up the power on the glove, and fired, blowing up a tank and taking out a group of soldiers. "And that is for my brother." he said. He reached to his left arm, pressed a button, and whispered, "Hal! Can you hear me?!" A crackly voice came through the minorly damaged speaker, "Yes, I can, father. I'm coming to you. Just give me a while to find you, and I'll be there." Hal told him through the speaker. A splash of midnight blue light illuminated the dark shell of Hal 2000 as he motored up to Blaze and Ardeth. "You called." came his small, quiet voice as he picked up a small weapon. "Downloading files to operate this weapon.. Complete." he said, pumping lots of weapons fire out there, a small laser type weapon doing damage.

<Blaze gives Ardeth some silent motions with his hand indicating Ardeth to hack into the prisons computers and shut down there security camera's sweep around the east wall, while Blaze climbed to the ground to sweep the same wall around to where the wall connected with the fenced in prison compound>

*Blaze jumped down from the 20ft high wall neatly to the ground, then started to sweep the east wall on ground level. He snuck up behind one guard, put his own arm around the guard's neck and then there was a crack heard as the guards neck was broken, then vaporized with a single phaser blast, Blaze continued and met up with Ardeth at the intersection to the Prison section of the compound*

Ardeth jumped. He'd expected to see sentries and lots of metal. He saw what looked like a video camera, though he knew it wasn't operational. Primitive barbed wire kept any chance of vaulting the wall low. blood was everywhere. Ardeth growled softly: he recognized some of the blood's scent as being another Hybrid. "If that little bit of blood I smell happens to be Hybrid blood, we've got trouble." Ardeth whispered, calming down.

Zaphan took a look at the Impulse flow and engaged the Subspace Induction, with a sudden burst of speed the freighter rose out of the atmosphere.

"This is...err...Captain Zaphan of the Loxian Commercial Freighter Drak'kai to any Federation vessel, we have an emergency.
My ship is about to fall apart and we have General Zayan on board, who has gone into labor.

Unfortunately something had to give and that happened to be the impulse manifolds.

"Oh FUDGE"

Zaphan ran passed her passengers, ran past a screaming Zayan and her Vulcan nurse maid, ran through the cargo bay and into the screaming engine room.

Zaphan thought it funny to note that the Impulse manifold, was screaming at nearly the same pitch as Zayan.

Of course her original analysis of the situation..."Oh FUDGE"...wasn't entirely accurate, this ship was in worst shape than first thought, therefore Zaphan's next words were more accurate.

"Ohh FRELL!!!"

Ardeth snarled, tired of all this guard work. He then saw, just at the edges of his vision, a guard sneaking up on him. One laser burst killed him. Ardeth, however, wasn't faring so well. His energy was about to peak, then fade rapidly. He called Blaze. "I'm running low. Won't last much longer. Need a recharge." were the words sent over the comm, as Ardeth's laser weapons fizzled out, his claws jammed up, and he felt the strain of 2 weeks of constant on catch up with him.

**Vulcan SHuttle Kelata**

The Kelata's sensors indicated the Loxian battle group approaching the Freighter, Baphomet noted that who ever or whatever the Loxian females on board the freighter obviouslyy were important enough for such an armada and therefore it would be logical to protect them.

Baphomet decided that with what she knows it would be prudent and logical to do something about it.

While still cloaked, Baphomet engaged the engines, deciding that the Kelata's Ablative Armor could easily wipe out the drones in the air.

Approaching the Drones, the Kelata rammed the first few of the thousand AAC's floating 50 meters above the ground forces.
The drones exploded and if the others had faces, they would show shock as their fellow Droids were exploding with no apparent reason.

Baphomet brought the still cloaked Vulcan prototype shuttle around for another strafing run, taking out as many as she could with the new attack run.
The drones began flying around erratically trying to find their invisible attacker, as this was their new assumption in favour of a malfunction.
The troops on the ground were probably just as confused as the drones as several looked up, wondering what the racket was and why pieces of metal were falling all around them.

Leaving them confused, Baphomet drew the ship away from the troops to a safe distance and then decloaked the vessel with Meson canons, Phaser emitters and Quantum torpedo launchers fore and aft.

Baphomet did quick calculations with the help of the ID navigation system and set a Shiftdrive jump at 11D to over the AntiGrav Battle tanks and APC.

She then raised the subspace shields and engaged the Shiftdrive, as far as on lookers were concerned, a halo of white light appeared in front of the enemy ship (the Kelata) and vanished in a blur.
Before they could react, a new halo appeared above them and the Kelata shifted back to normal space above them. Firing a volley of Meson energy and Quantum torpedoes on to the Tanks most of the ones hit by the volley survived but their shields nearly collapsed, three of the tanks were not so lucky exploding into a ball of molten metal and plasma.

Baphomet then lowered the subspace shield and cloaked the Kelata again, moving off as the tanks fired into the air.
Two of the plasma bolts hit the Kelata, but the Class 2 Ablative Armor remained in tact.

And so the Battle has begun...

"Any Federation shuttles able to fight, assistance in this conflict would be most appreciated.
The Loxian battle group is getting too close to what seems to be their target onboard a stricken Loxian Freighter.
Sensors indicate two female Loxians, one is in labor the other is seemingly a guard of some kind.
Captain Taurik and a Jem'Hadar are attempting to protect the Freighter.
It would be logical to begin attacking the Loxian Government troops now.

"ARDETH!!!!!!!!!! GET OVER HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Blaze yelled to Ardeth but Ardeth knew he had to leave his fallen brother and he rushed over to Blaze.

"Lets see we have 30 grenades, 10 more rockets, 2 rifles, 1 insane vulcan, 30 claymore's, and 30 mines. We may need to go into melee combat. They wont quit it seems." Blaze said as he scanned the horizon as the sun began to dip down behind the mountains.

"They will move in under cover of darkness so we best use it to our advantage, Take these quantom claymore's and lets plant them around the parameter, we dont need to see at night but they will need lighting so we have an advantage. Lets move!."

*Blaze and Ardeth split the claymore's and the mines up evenly between the 2 of them and started to lace the area with claymore's and mines, making it almost impossible for the Loxians to get to the freighter when there done planting the explosives*

"Blasted humans, I just told you what was going on. Also Captain, Quantum rounds arent bio weapons, they just have a smaller bang. You can arrest me if you wish Captain but im doing my job, it was never specified as to how it would come about. But you cant keep fighting in your weakened state. The Tanks on the ridge keep firing there rounds at us and they keep coming in, the ground forces are worse."

"Mr Mathews you best show a lil more respect to my weapons, or ill show you a new meaning of respect got it!" Blaze sneered at Mathews.

"So no bio chemical weapons hmmmmm, so no gas, no bio organical. <Blaze stood there for several minutes thinking>, There bound to stop bombarding this area and they cant see the target when night falls but if there smart they will probly try to snipe us during the night widdle us down. We use the cover of night. Ardeth can go for the tanks, while I circle around and cause confusion for ground troops."

"Captain, those 2 young loxian children will need to be looked after, and please deal with this mathews. Or I wont be responsible if they kill him for not listening to those who know more then he does about fighting. Which means, my experience far surpasses both of yours when it comes to fighting and not using my experience will prove deadly to everyone here!"

Ardeth sat down and shut down the cameras entirely. He then leapt the 20 foot tall wall, and slid to the ground, claws out entirely, all 20. (toes and fingertips have claws) He caught up to Blaze at the intersection. "Did one better, knocked out all the cameras for the prison. That way we go in unnoticed. Started a loop on it. IC**Blaze was at his usual helm control when he picked up a vessel on sensors, but then Blaze looked at Malcolm and Ardeth then back at the sensors he looked in confusion, the ship was half buried in ice and dirt*

*The Sword of Justice picked up Zaphan's message then it cut out*

"Hmmmmm, perhaps we should fly over there see whats going on."

<Sensors beeped>

"Ardeth, get your brother to the rear hatch, and get those 2 kids into the storage bays and lock them in. Sensors are picking up a large contingent of loxian troops heading south of the crash site and heading northeast of them. Its possible they search for the crashed ship. Stand bye back there for combat."

*Blaze activates the ships cloak then turns her engines on, flying with great skill the sleek cloaked ship heads towards the crash site on thrusters as to not attract any unwanted attention*

"Get your weapons Ardeth, we may have to defend there location." Blaze yelled towards Ardeth.

The U.S.S. Evolution, starship of the Federation and home to more than eighty Starfleet officers, took it's last proverbial breath.

The auto-destruct sequence was initiated, and the charges housed along the impulse reactors ignited. It was slow at first, the fire spewing lazily from the impulse engines, working its way along the saucer and dorsal spine, and reaching the warp core.

The antimatter containment pods were breached, and antimatter particles were released into Engineering, where they promptly reacted with the matter that composed the room. The Evolution twisted and lurched very violently, before splittng in two and vaporizing itself in an expanding plasma fireball.

As the plasma and fusion reached the remnants of the star Loxius Alpha, an amazing thing occurred. The core elements of the star, hydrogen and helium, began to actually fuse once more. The star, a dull grey for many years, began to glow again. It began as a deep red, slowly working it's way up the spectrum until the entire sphere shone a brilliant, bright yellow. The heat began to strike the planet Loxius Prime once more.

The star Loxius Alpha was alive again. But at a cost.

The U.S.S. Evolution, and with it, Commander Bryan Hannah, were no more.

*The Human and his men see a half jem'hadar and half cybernetic humanoid come rushing our carrying a rather sizeable rifle, with combat gear on, looks like a combo of Federation style and Jem'hadar style customized*

"Hmmmmm, theres 2 children in my shuttle in lockdown, theres a pregnant woman and a few injured inside the freighter, one of them is pregnant the other has no idea what shes doing but shes Loxian too supposedly the pilot, theres a woman and a male from the Evolution's crew there in there injured, and we got dozens of tanks rolling in and they got that ridge over there covered and there bombarding the freighter supposedly to kill the woman and the child shes carrying, and there the loxians are starting to surround this location, where ever there troops are coming from there sending there entire military to this location. This woman is supposedly very important and thats why we must protect her at all costs got it, Human. I suggest you bunker in, I hope you brought rocket launchers with you because they will be needed to take out those tanks." Blaze hurriedly said with a sneer

"Well Ardeth then has been fun, lets get out of here. I think I will join you when you decide to serve the federation again. Perhaps being a free lancer is threw with for the time being. Perhaps we both need to settle down a lil. You seem to have control over what you are, and come to terms with it. Lets get out of here, those kids in the storage bay probly needs to be let out I suppose. Go and let them out. Im pretty sure we got our weapons and such from the ground. Go!."

*Ardeth left the pilot's seat next to Blaze and went to let the lil ones out and check on things in the back*

*They continued threw the hour towards the base and Ardeth took a sniper position in the tall grass where he wouldnt be easily seen*

"Ill go around to the east, get the type 3 phaser sniper rifle out. Set it max setting, dont leave anyone alive to raise the alarm, should be enough to take them out without them making a sound. Remember, Ill do the same, and pick the guards off the walls. Then ill move in close enough to hack the base systems and shut off there camera's. Got it."

Taurik pulls himself and Zayan from the floor. She was grasping him very tightly, and it actually took a slight psionic weave to calm her. She had suffered a minor laceration on her forehead, and it was beginning to bleed.

As Taurik went to fetch the medical supplies, he noticed his left arm, the cybernetic one, was disabled. He grabbed the medkit with his right arm while making mental note to ask Commander Freeman about the left arm later. He returned to Zayan, and applied a bandage to her head wound while using a medical scanner to monitor her lifesigns, as well as those of the unborn child.

Mentally to all telepathic ~~Incoming~~

From in the shy, several blast of Ion charge pulse beams erupt to 4 different areas around the frieghter, at 10 to 15 clicks difference on each. The ground shockwave as intense for a few seconds before subsiding.

A fifth ion charge pulse beam hits the Northern Ridge destroy or mortally disabling the remaining tanks. The was a shockwave more powerful since it was closer but at least the explosion was contained.

"Taurik, I found 2 children in the other compound there aboard my ship. We found a bunch of half way eaten bodies in what looks to be a prison cell, the bodies were in a ritualistic way. Pretty much they were on skewed with a pike. We found the person who did the killing it seems it was Malcolm there, he was forced too and hes also the brother of Ardeth. He wanted me to kill him to get his pain of being what he is over with, but I decided to let him die with honor if he so chooses, so hes going to help fight these guys and if he chooses to die then so be it, atleast he died getting revenge. Thats my report."

<Blaze handed Ardeth a rocket launcher type weapon and kneels down using the hill as cover to where only his head and the rocket launcher showed, then Ardeth did the same>

"Ardeth, you get the Quantom warheads ?"

Captain Taurik materialized on the surface of the planet Loxius. Unable to sense his destination from orbit, he had put himself right into the center of the life activity he could feel. Unfortunately, that happened to be the public square, in which also resided several military officers and soldiers.

"Hey, you there!" yelled one officer. "Identify yourself!"

As the man, accompanied by his subordinates, approached Taurik, the Vulcan quickly delved into the depths of the officer's mind, finding his decision and perception centers and grasping them.

"I don't believe there's any need for that," Taurik said.

The officer looked at him a moment, then shrugged. "Yeah, you're probably right."

The ease with which this was achieved led Taurik to believe he may be able to extract information from the man.

"Excuse me, sir? Where might I find a woman by the name of Zayan?"

The officer turned on his heel. "Zayan? She's under classified lockdown! Only top brass would know about her! Say, who are you? Tell me, now!"

Taurik realized he had pushed his luck too far. There would be no manipulating this situation. The Vulcan summoned a powerful blast of psionic energy, and hurled it at the officer. The Loxian flew across the square, promptly breaking his back and neck after colliding with the wall of a building.

A short, similar exertion was necessary to eliminate his comrades. Taurik proceeded to strip the lead officer of his uniform, so that he could change into it himself. The task of altering others' perceptions of oneself was much easier if the only anomalous factor is one's face, after all. After hiding his commbadge and khala hilt on his person, Taurik proceeded to continue in his search.

He leapt again, his tail giving him supreme agility and balance surpassed only by gyroscopes, which didn't let him tuck and roll when he needed to. A bright green beam shot from his gloved right hand, leaving nothing but ash from the guard foolishly looking at him. This blew away easily. Growling softly, he flashed a signal to Blaze, near invisible. the dim light glinted against his 4 metal fangs, sitting with a mouthful of real teeth. He wanted fangs when those 4 were taken out from battle damage. 2 flashes, an all clear.

**Vulcan Shuttle Kelata**

The computer indicated that the ANTS had finished the superficial damage, so Baphomet cloaked the Kelata and moved back into the approaching forces, this time with all weapons armed.

But before she would decloaked, she considered the logical thing to do would be to take out the rest of the AAC's.
Doing so with several strafing runs, every single AAC became balls of plasma and decending debris.

Baphomet decided then to concentrate on the remaining battle tanks and APC's, as the ground forces are not much of a threat to the Kelata.

Baphomet took the Kelata up high above the forces nad decloaked the vessel and brought the subspace shields up to full strength.

While still out of range, Baphomet programmed a sequence of of attack maneuvers.

Once complete, Baphomet let the computer take over.
The Kelata increased speed to full atmospheric impulse and fired a full volley of Phaser fire, Meson pulses and Quantum torpedoes.

Every single APC was obliterated along with every battle tank bar one which had maneuvered, either on purpose or accidental, when the Kelata began it's preprogrammed attack.

Several of the tanks, during the attack run, managed to fire upon the Kelata but with only minor damage to most of the systems, Baphomet calculated that the odds of the Kelata and herself surviving thecontinuing battle was slim at best.

But as Surak once said: "The needs of many, out weigh the needs of the few, or the one."
She considered that the logical thing to do was continue regardless, as many lives depend on her to keep going with the attack.

A small scout/light cruiser varient vessel drops from a hyperspace event window into transorbital orbit. The Avenger, under the Command of Dyien has been watching this system for sometime.

As the Avenger enters orbit, the cloaking device goes offline for 2.056 seconds to recharge and then comes back online as they decend into the planets atmosphere.

The reign of the Loxian Government at an end, the Loxian people begin to pick up the pieces. The dead are seperated from the wounded, and prepaired for burrial by those able. Families long seperated by the Government find each other, some joyiously, some in sorrow. There is much work for the newly free Loxian people and much help needed to get them back on track.*

*At first the revolt was going well. The Loxian Government was not prepaired nor expecting an orbital attack by the Loxian Exiles. In the first pass the Exiles mannaged to take out two flagships, one battleship, and at least 50 small fighters. The element of surprise gone, the Government counter attacked. The Exile ships were swift for short distances and very manuverable. They were built more for gurilla fighting, something that is good for fighting in the Dark Passage with all the asteroids. In open space their ships dodged around the Government ships like pests. Out of nowhere came more Government ships, there was twice as many than there were to begin with! The Government fleet created a net to crush the Exiles with. Soon every Exile ship was dodging for their lives. One third of their number were vaporized. Seeing they were out numbered Zayan gives the order to draw back to Vontak Nor. The remainder of the Exiles attempted to break free from the killing net. Half of them were able to escape, at the cost of their comrads who's ships were damaged and crash landed on Loxius (Zayan's ship was among them). The remaining one third of the Exiles were not persued, as the Government quickly gathered any serviving criminals from the crashes before they could get underground. The crash servivors were not given any medical attention. Those who would die from their wounds were tried for treason and exicuted on the spot. The Exiles were cramed 20 to a cell the wounded with the unwounded (though badly brused).

Zayan was fourtunate that all she had was a broken arm (yet she was unsure of the well being of her child). As a mother she hoped beyond hope that the child of her love was still alive. Yet as she was to be tried then executed, Zayan could only hope that her child was dead. As they would cut any unborn child from its mother, to raise in their military hospital, before the mother's execution.*

*Taking the next hour to cut threw the back of the ship near what Blaze thinks is the cargo bay, with a loud sound carrying thud the peice of metal falls inward, Blaze took up a ready position with his phaser rifle*

"Ardeth, im entering now. Keep an eye out for trouble. The loxian government wont let these 3 to escape. If needed fall back to the crashed ship and take cover."

*Blaze proceeded threw the corridors of the ship checking each room carefully. Blaze signaled for Malcolm to secure the door and Blaze would proceed forward alone. Blaze continued from the rear to the cockpit carefully checking each room, but when Blaze got to one of the rooms Blaze veiwed an unexpecting thing, it was Taurik and Zayan*

"Taurik, whats going on here?" As Blaze said this he took off his pack and handed Taurik a medium sized medical kit, then noticing Tauriks smashed arm, took a hyperspray out of his pack and injected Taurik with it, then grabbed his pack and put it back on, then grabbed his rifle.

"Taurik, I just injected you with a nanite serum. It should start to repair your arm soon. That medical kit should help you. I have 2 others with me. How many more people are aboard ?"

"Seal the ship and activate the ships internal and external weapon systems. We will be moving out soon, but it seems that the Exile General is pregnant. We may need to bunker down here."

**Vulcan Shuttle Kelata**

Baphomet new it would be a while before the shuttles could reach the surfice, given the Starfleet shuttles' inferior engines and therefore decided to bombard the Loxian army with more of the Kelata's superior weapons.

As a Vulcan and designer of the prototype Kelata class vessel, she could not take pride in her work as that would be an illogical emotion, but to her the Shuttle was satisfactory for it's purpose.
Which is the first in a series of Kelata class vessels designed for surveillance, but could also take the place of a battlecruiser if needed.

With this in mind, Baphomet set a strafing run at the Loxian army, first to decloak above them and fire a spread of Quantum torpedoes fore and the aft as rising to a vector of 45 degrees and away from the army cloaking again.
As she did this 5 more battle tanks were either irrepairably damaged or obliterated, as several hundred Loxian ground troops met their maker via highly charged plasma.

Baphomet, knowing that she would have to keep this up for a long time, checked the compliment of Quantum torpedoes and decided it was time to change to the Meson canons.

She then configured the Shuttle for a decloak/recloak strafing run, as the army decided it was time to fire wildly in the air with the tanks as the APC's and ground troops moved on.
The AAC's were still trying to find their attacker, running diagnostics now then, due to conclusion their optical sensors were 'seeing things'.

Baphomet engaged the strafing run, as the shuttle decloaked it took several hits from the tanks, reducing the shields to 90%.
The Meson canons fired, causing the some of the tanks and an APC to be crushed under micro-gravity wells.

The Kelata cloaked again, as ANTS (Autonomous NanoTech System) began their task of repairing the damage caused by the last attack.
Baphomet took the Kelata to a safe distance for the repairs to ensue, while watching the Loxian forces on the sensors.

OFF: Maybe this could indicate that Zayan and/or Zaphan discovered some "vital" information about the Loxian Government, that they don't want Starfleet to find out about. Probably about a secret weapon they were developping, or an invasion plan or something... something that will hereby be stopped, giving Sanchez and his crew some commendation by Starfleet after all, despite their disobeying of Starfleet orders.

Zaphan, a 23 year old Merchant was in a cell next to Zayan, her heroine.
Zaphan was seperated from her parents when she was but 16, learning how to fly as many types of vessels as she could, being bumped from tribe to tribe, using her beauty and wits to stay alive, became a merchant with a wonderful old Loxian merchant who adopted her as his niece.

Unfortunately two years later the old man passed away, his only possession being the Cargo freighter Drak'khai; which at present is also under guard in it's own holding cell at the Stardock.
Moments before the planned revolt, Zaphan was docked at Vontak Nor, trading weapons and other needed supplies at cost price.
For some reason, of which she still can't figure out, had joined the revolt using the heavily modified cargo freighter to the maximum of it's capability.
When the tide of the battle turned is, when the ships enginese decided enough was enough and it took all of her skill to crashland the vessel while dodging as much of the phaser fire as possible, ditching the vessel just outside the capital cities boundry.

The rest is a blur, but hey, at least Zaphan the best pilot (as far as she was concerned) was still alive......

Zaphan awoke, a little worse for wear, tears that had been rolling down her eyes moments before being knocked unconscious for third time since her crash landing, were now dry.

With blurry eyes, she over heard the conversation in the next cell and couldn't believe her luck.

"Z-Z-Zayan, are you alright...err...this is such an honor General."

But the 2 children are in lockdown in my shuttle. Once shes able to be moved Ardeth and I will beable to take her out of here if shes not up to being moved bye transport, But I suggest we strip the vessel down and get any spare parts off this vessel before we leave, and make sure all vital data has been purged from the systems. May I inquire why the loxian government is sending practically all of there forces after Zayan ?, it seems there armies are endless."

"Halt, officer."

Taurik stopped at the military checkpoint, exerting a small amount of psionic energy to manipulate the perceptions of the checkpoint guards, making himself look Loxian to them. he took his ID chip, and plugged it into the receptacle. hte computer offered an affirmatory tone, and the officers stood down. As Taurik passed the checkpoint, one of the guards gave him a quizzical, confused look, but shrugged it off.

Upon reaching a market square, Taurik saw many Loxian vendors, making desperate attempts to sell their wares. waving them off, he stopped at a military access terminal. Plugging his ID chip in once more, he entered a query on the name "Zayan". After sifting through useless history reports and bounty announcements, he stopped at a recent memo to all high-ranking Loxian officers. Zayan was being held at "Military Lockdown Compound 23", located in Zathia Province.

Taurik was slightly disappointed. He had absolutely no idea where Zathia Province was. It took him an excrutiatingly long time, almost two hours at the terminal, to locate a map that not only showed Zathia Province, but a map that he could decipher. His lack of geographical knowledge of Loxius was quite frustrating.

The catch was that Zathia Province was on a different continent. Usually, Taurik could simply teleport himself there, but the unrest in the society and the masses of life here made it very difficult to center oneself. Teleportation on such a scale was impossible. Apparently, Taurik realized, his only way to get to Military Lockdown Compound 23 was to acquire a conventional means of transportation.

As brothers, we're bound by blood. We have a seat reserved in the Council of the Heavens." Malcolm said, speaking of the place all Hybrids believed they'd go.

*Just then some guards came in to take some of the Loxian Rebels to be executed. One of the guards hears Zayan talking and strikes her across the face with his weapon. Creating deep gashes in Zayan's cheek that start to flow with blood.*

Guard: "No talking! Whoever I catch talking next time will be executed on the spot."

*The guard leaves with his troop and the soon to be executed prisoners. A pregnant woman not far in her pregnancy is dragged from the group screaming as they take her through a seperate door.*

With that Sanchez wakes out of his fainting stupor and pushes Zaphan out of the way in his rush to Zayan.

Zaphan then realises she has been left out of it and runs to catch up.
She looks at the baby and how sweet it looks, thinking quitely to herself if she will ever feel that joy.

Shaking her head, Zaphan accidently says out loud...

"Nah, probably not, I'm too much to handle!!"

*The Bombardment continued to go on outside as the loxian troops continued to try to break threw the defense lines of the federation officers, the freighter shook as sparks flew as the frieghters shields began to fail, Blaze rushed into the room with his rifle and his Armor began to look like it was about to fall apart*
