Moving SS Avalon

OOC: This is Hobson. Dean Starwind is on an extended leave, and so this character (who can have been an unrecognized senior engineer on board) is the acting XO untill Dean's return. Captain Ransom is now also on a short leave, while that goes on, this character is the acting CO.

Nasmith came quickly on the bridge. The contact that he would be put to the command staff while health problems disabled the CO and XO both, was quite a load. But he held it, and responded as he heard the message.
"This is Commander Tom Nasmith, in command. The Windsor is standing by".

=^=Captain Ransom, this is Fleet Captain Archer. We have finished preparations onboard SS Avalon and we will leave within the hour. Please undock your vessels, stand-by tractor beams and warp, and wait for my signal. We will keep an open comm-link between all assisting vessels and the station.=^=

=^=Julian to all ships, runabouts, flyers and engineering. First of all i'de like to thank you all for helping out, im sure you all had as much fun as i have . An open comm-link will be kept between us all at all times during the trip so if anything happens we will know about it. Now for the part i love about my job. Make it so!=^=

*Following this transmission, all vessels engaged their tractor beams and they locked on to Avalon Station. Another incoming transmission followed, this time from Fleet Captain Archer*

"Archer here, all tractor beams are attached. Engineering, activate shields to decrease station's mass."

*As the shields were activated, a faint blue screen surrounded the station*

"All ships, I am sending you the destination coordinates. Lay in a course, warp 4. Engage in three... two.... one.... Now!"

*Slowly, the ships began to move, and then they all suddenly jumped into warp.*

From Engineering Jones was working hard going over last minute checks to make sure that the Windsor could handle the task ahead of her.

=A= Captain, Jones here, we are ready for warp, and don't worry, the Tractor Beam will hold while all the way to warp five point five. I will try to get it to faster speeds but I am already pushing it a little bit. Jones Out. =A=
