U.S.S. Evolution Mission 9: The Maviduli Crystal

Within the battle, a new ship appears, off the starboard side of the Evoloution, Markings are USS StarFire.

Evoloution and Rivendell  receive a communication:

StarFire to Evoloution and Rivendell,  your request for aid has been recieved, preparing for Delta Seperation.

[Randall Sanchez]

"Welcome aboard. Were you two the only ones from that ship? Please allow Dr. Ftima to examine your medical condition. Also..."
*And then he also turns to Taurik.*
"We will not head back to Avalon Station or Delta Alliance space just yet. We have a classified mission to carry out, which means we must travel deeper into this unchartered area of space first."

Captains...
The information to which I carry is vital to the Federation Security.  I will need a area to secure this.   I have studied the schematics of this ship, and it appears that the Captains Ready Room would be sufficient.  
I will need you to send 2 of your best engineers for installation of the security field.  All information will be relayed to you in a more secure place.

The engineers must know that what they see must not be divulged, or thrown in the brig and classified tratiors.

"Mr. Enoch did indeed say more than he should... at least, in front of the entire bridge anyway. Captain, let me make a deal with you here. *Lefronas receives her students urgent message.  Unable to reach her students mind as his concentration to his task is blocking her out, she rushes to his location while mind linking to Sanchez.*
"Captain Sanchez, do not ask any questions.  Your ship is in grave danger.  I am not sure what it is, but I am on my way to help... For what I can gather from the information that he was able to send me, there is something in the warp core.  That is creating a flux which could make the core implode.  I recomend that you seal off the engin room and evacuate all personel from the area.  We will do what we can.  If the core does implode we will protect the ship and the crew from the blast."

*beep beep beep ............. "He's just fine. Absolutely no lasting injuries. When he wakes up, a slight headache is all he'll feel."*

This is the first good news in weeks, Captain maybe it is an idea if i take Sarnae and Vorlok to the holodeck and try to entertain them i still have a nice program, that is if Dr. Hannah doesn't need me here.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez whispers back at Zayan.*
"We'll find out soon enough."
*Then he steps forward.*
"All right, I want a report of what's going on here! Has anyone here been into a fight or something?"

[Kelli Lauren]

The Evolution shudders violently as the disruptor fire rakes across her hull. Several bridge officers are thrown to the deck, and a bulkhead falls to the immediate left of the viewscreen.

"We've lost the port engine completely! The phaser capacitors are almost burned out, I'm not sure how much longer we can take this!"

A phaser beam reaches from the starboard array and sweeps across the lead warbird's forward shield grid. A follow-up torpedo also detonates against the shields. The Evolution takes another hit, and the ship rocks again. Getting a perfect bearing on the second warbird, Kelli lets the torpedoes fly. However, after only three, the bays stop firing. Kelli checks her panel.

"Captain! Torpedo banks are exhausted!"

Understood. Captain. I request permission to remain on the ship to make sure everything is in good shape. I wish to make some minor repairs from what I gotten on status report from our operations officer, Mr. Nonir, while you are gone. Some habits die hard I need to work as an engineer once again for a little bit, Captain.

(Addressing Mr. Nonir)
As for your suggestions. I would request adding the suggestion to your report for the Captain to make that final assessment for what we need. He needs to give you that final approval on the supplies you have requested. As for the repairs, I will work on what I can while everyone is down on Vontak Nor. I will deal with what we need done while we are here. Thank you for bringing that informationto my attention as well.

Taurik spends a moment to concentrate, then slowly disappears in a shimmer of deep blue light.

ON**Hk monitors VS's healtrh and sees hes going into cardiac arrest even tho hes able to breathe....not sure what happened with his shield he put up around VS to protect him from the cloud thingy....HK immediately deactivates the shield so the medical teams can work on him......*

"Very well. I think we better start sharing news from each other. Let me start by saying that this situation is rather unexpected. We are far off from Avalon Station or any other Federation presence in the Delta Quadrant... In fact, this is the furthest way we've probably ever been. And here I find, at the moment I think we're all doomed, both your ships coming to the rescue."
