*The ship is hurled towards its destination at a faster than light speed of warp 5*

OFF: Sorry, but I have been busy BTW where is everyone else?

"Aye, Aye, Sir, "  

I Announce on the ships intercom:
"Lt. Dallas, Ensign Denari, Ensign Anderson  
Cadet Cole, report to the Captains Ready Room."  

I turn over my security station and walk to to the Captain's Ready Room."  

Captain, I am reporting as ordered.
 

[Jorgen Salen]

"Please stay on the Bridge, Commander.  I feel sure Engineering will keep humming.  I want you here to be up to speed on the away mission that is in progress.  We expect developments momentarily."

*Incoming Special Communication From Kennedy Base*

Reeds face came onto the screen.

"I wanted to see on the progress of your mission. There have been changed since you left. Our own General Mason has retired. Leaving myself in charge with another as XO. If you think you can do no more with your mission for lack of tasks or lack of crew you may return to the station. Hopfully we can gain active crew and give a new mission. Good Luck."

The mission has been posted and also the Dragon has arrived from Intel Division.

OFF: the mission should begin within the next 24 hours.

yes sir.

*Hits some keys to send a signal to the Dragon, no audio or visual just a message*

Tom Anderson: Transport complete, we have the entire group, they are in transporter room 2.

"Very well everyone, let's get back to work.  Agent Guiss, please set a course for the Boruun System, warp 5.  Nish, I want you to escort the Ambassador to the Bridge.  That's all."

Everyone files out and goes to their respective posts.

Salen takes his seat and watches the main viewscreen.

"Display the distress call, Ensign, but take no further action.  Helm, plot an intercept course, but do not engage yet."

Aye sir, taking us back

*the ship slows a little bit to let the romulan coalition move ahead a few thousand km*

*Sven tries to finish every thing possible before leaving his station, but realizes that he would have to leave the piloting up to the computer*

*Gets up and heads for the commander's quarters*

For those of you not in the know, Mr. Guiss and General Mason will be leaving the Board for a short time- up to 2 months at last prediction.  I am hopeful that they will return much sooner, but the Ferengi have them at their mercy with their high internet rates.

Therefore, in the interests of everyone, we will have to post with the assumption that Sven is here after he leaves.  When he comes back, he can read up on what his physical form was up to while he was on the astral plane.  I don't think we'll kill him off... hehehe... j/k!

Salen nods in answer to Sven's suggestion and remarks that he has reviewed Movack's away team recommendation and the information that Guiss and Trell have given him so far.  "It is time to act," he says. "Assemble your team, Ensign, because I have decided that the activity we have seen is far too blatent to be ignored.  We're going to attack and board the Romulan ship.  Stealth will be our prime method of attack.  Movack, you will beam over to the Romulan ship and create a diversion.  Do some damage and, above all, do not get caught.  The rest of your team will stop the vessel and render it impossible to escape, to be destroyed, or to be cloaked.  Speed is essential.  If you fail we may not be able to retrieve you.

"Agent Guiss, send a message to Starfleet detailing our current plan and copy it to the Dragon.  If we need assistance, I want the Fleet to be ready.  The Romulans would not act so openly unless they believed they were too strong to be defeated- their arrogance will be their undoing if we can help it.  Ok, to your posts.  Movack- you have ten minutes to prep your team.  No augmentation will be necessary for this mission- get in, get out and get going- got it?"
