=^= Captain, I think our first drop out should be in 10 minutes, then we will have an hour of vulnerability at impulse, when the hour is up we can re-engage the warp field.  Sir, I was thinking, would it be possible to have the ships who are using there tractor beams to engage there shields to encompass the entire station for say 30 minutes ?, would buy us a longer period at warp and shorter downtime to recharge the stations shields.  The ships extended shields would act as sorta a buffer in a way." =^=

*After having gotten the permission to transport of the ship, Archer made some last-minute preparations*

"Computer, match station's velocity and heading, stay at a distance of 50 kilometres"

Computer: "Affirmative"

=^=Archer to Johnson. I'm transporting of the ship to the station. You're in charge now. I've set the auto-pilot, so you can stay down in engineering. We'll maintain the open comm-link. Warn me as soon as something goes wrong. Prepare the shields together with the other vessels to envelope the station during our next warp-trip. Archer out=^=

*And Archer disappeared, to reappear only seconds later on SS Avalon*

*As Archer was double-checking the ship's systems, he saw the U.S.S. Windsor leave the docking bay. He received an incoming message from Commander Nasmith that they were standing by. All ships assigned to assist the moving were now ready to leave.*

*Back from his trip to the station, Archer's ship and the others jumped to warp again, and everything seemed to be going fine. 6 hours and two more drops out of warp later, the largest part of the journey was completed. 15 minutes after the station and ships had engaged their warp drives for what was to be the final time, something shook the entire station, after which it suddenly dropped out of warp. *

*Archer, who was on the Lhasa, saw this happen and he disengaged the warp drive of his vessel.*

=^=Archer to SS Avalon. I thought we wouldn't have to stop anymore until we reach Dantor. Why have you dropped out of warp?=^=

*After a long day of travel, SS Avalon has finally reached Dantor, Starphoenix Base. After they all dropped out of warp, Vice-Admiral Julian wants all crew involved to report to Ops. So Archer requested docking clearance, and docked the Lhasa in Docking Bay 2 of Avalon Station. After that, he went directly to Ops.*

*The mission was well under way, when admiral Julian and captain Archer thought of a way to further increase the station's shield integrity.*

"Computer, re-route energy from the deflector dish to the primary tractor beam emitter."

*The computer gave its familiar beeps to indicate that the task was executed.*

"Computer, by how much can we increase tractor beam strength?"

Computer: "35%"

"Make it so."

*The beeps again*

=^= Kassie to Ops and Archer, we are doing an emergency drop out of warp.  I repeat this is an emergency drop out, this may be a lil rough ride.  Get Medics to Manns location immediately, shields are failing, power is being lost somewhere.  I repeat we are exiting warp NOW!.  <Pushes a few buttons on the propulsion panel as the station drops out of warp and containment fields are errected>, Ops, we are safely out of warp.  Damn it, I suggest we do a complete diagnostics and get mann to the medical bay ASAP.  He went to try and fix a shield array problem and his comm cut out.  The area he was working on is safe now and its contained.  I believe we may have to stay longer at impulse then originally expected.  Ill beam him to the medical bay."

*Archer received the distorted message from Mann and tried to make sense of it. He couldn't...*

*As the Lhasa drops out of warp, she shook a bit, and ended up about 200.000 kilometres ahead of the station*

"Red Alert! Computer scan the entire area for other vessels."

Computer: "No ships on long-range sensors"
