Starfleet Breach of Delta Regulations

*Wabvleef clears his throat.*

If we are to capture the ship, I wish to clame 1/9 of everything.  Including the people on that ship.  I could use a few free labor workers, and some dancing girls too.

*He rubs his hands together thinking of the kind of profit he could gain from selling one of those Starfleet women that he has heard so much about.*

[Tankalan]

Talonion Represenative Tankalan walks into the Round Council Chamber room and takes his appropriate seat

"So, what are we discussing that is so urgent?  I was in the midst of some very important business on Talonis when i recieved the call for my immediate arrival here."

[Mentora]

"Is all this talk really necessary? May I remind you that as long as we sit here and do nothing, Starfleet is still out there, growing in power and becoming an increasing danger to us. Let's eliminate them, we can still talk afterwards!"

[Mentora]

"It looks like we're missing all the fun out there! Why don't we go there and shoot a bit too? Maybe Starfleet is a worthy opponent!"

[Mentora]

"A battle is taking place out there, and we sit here doing nothing but debating it! If we are going to defend our integrity, we will have to defend our borders! I propose that we close the Delta Alliance borders to any outsiders, and Starfleet in particular, until this matter is resolved!"

[Tankalan]

First of Avelox your attempt to upset me has failed.  As most of you know It is very hard for the Talonions to live off world that is why I do not always attend meetings.  

Now this talk of military action against Starfleet sickens me.  We welcomed them with open arms through diplomacy and diplomacy is how we should handle any situation with Starfleet.

[Avelox]

*Avelox is about to disagree with Wabvleef, when one of his aids comes running up to him.  The aid quickly whispers something in his ear which causes him to have a shocked expression upon his face.  Avelox whispers something back, and the aid leaves as quickly as he came.*

"Oh, I am so sorry for that slight interuption!  Oh, I say we should not go to war against this StarFleet.  Oh, I do not see why we should not sit down with them and talk!  Oh, my as it is I need to tell them that their personel named Vurak Spock has misteriously dissapeared in front of visitors to the temple!"

*He quickly looks around the room to see if anyone would give a reaction indicating that they had something to do with this dissapearance.*

"Oh, I do hope that none of you had a hand in this!  Oh, I do have my people searching everywhere that they can think of to find him."

[Wabvleef]

*Wabvleef turns his face repulsioned towards the High Queen and quicly returns to his seat*

"This stupid Traquel, he will spoil all my plans I have to get rid off him"*thinks Wabvleef*

"Ofcourse Queen you are absolutly right,*giving her his best smile* maybe i just got a little carried away by Mentora, i didnt mean to go to war, as in fighting them. I meant going to war as in showing our strenght. Fighting, o no that never, i have a family myself i wouldnt think about what could happen to them if i lost them in a war. But High Queen you must agree with me that they wouldnt answer our questions if we dont show them our potention.
And secondly my Queen you have to admit, they are up to something, this disappearence of Mr. Spock isnt just a coincidence i bet it have something to do with them preparing some kind of attack so i still offer you to let me handle the weapon transactions.

"While I still disagree with the idealistic ideas of Pax about banning weapons alltogether, I agree that allowing Starfleet to break the regulations while our citizens may not, will cause serious problems. We have worked hard to establish this alliance between the nine species, and the alliance should stand, if we are to stand strong against our enemies!"

[Tash]

"Oh, anything for the money, eh? I swear, you Dralians are just as bad! You care for nothing but credits! I owe Starfleet my life, and if it weren't for them, we would not be as well-off as we are now!"

[Avelox]

Oh, me thinks there is much to discuss about.

*He takes another low sweaping bow, before retireing to his seat.  Avelox then places his feet up on the desk, awaiting the arival of the other Representatives.*

[Quello]

A Traquel enters with a small orb, and takes Tash's seat. He sets the orb on his part of the ring-like desk. A holo-image of Tash appears.

"As you can see, this is the result of nothing else but... weapons!"
*Pax gets up again, and starts walking around the Round Table as he makes his speech.*
"We set up rules and regulations, in this very hall, long ago! And why? To avoid exactly these kind of problems! All members of the Delta Alliance approved the rule, long ago, that no weaponry should be carried by anyone or anything, in Delta Alliance space. Only security vessels are allowed to have weapons installed, and security officers are allowed to carry a hand weapon. It went well, without any problems, for many years. Until Starfleet came along!"
*Pax walks to a viewscreen on the wall, and pushes a button. A Starfleet ship appears on the screen.*
"This, people, is a Starfleet vessel... It is not the Evolution, it is known as the U.S.S. Skytoucher. They were the very first ship of Starfleet we, Yzakians, ever encountered, a few years ago. We welcomed them peacefully, with open arms, and what did they do? They nearly destroyed us!"
*Then another picture appears on screen. The symbol of Starfleet.*
"We received a... formal apology, from Starfleet. They explained that they had not ordered this in any way, and that Goransson, the captain of the Skytoucher at that time, was not to blame. Instead, two of his officers, a certain Mannion and Svensson, caused it, but they... disappeared. Starfleet didn't even look for them! Yes, yes, they gave us some warp cores to provide us with a new power source after the previous one was destroyed by the Skytoucher, but that's where it ended! And that was how they said thank you, for the welcome we gave them!"
*Then the picture switches again, this time to the Evolution. The places where the ship's weaponry is installed, are marked in red on the picture.*
"But our rules still held us together in peace... until Starfleet showed up AGAIN! And what did you all do, people? WHAT DID YOU ALL DO? You let them into our space! And that's not the point really, my problem though is, that you all set aside your very own rules! You should have ordered the Evolution to dismantle any kind of weaponry they had on their ships, and turn in all their hand weapons of all their officers as well! But instead, you allowed them in, with their torpedoes, their phaser banks, their hand phasers... And what do you get?? This exact situation! I think that you are all to blame for this! Weapons are all source of evil!"
