Mission 12: "When It Rains..."

[Taurik]

"Plot a course, Petty Officer, heading two-six-seven by zero-one-four."

[T'lana]

T'lana looked at Taurik, then to Morgan, then back to Taurik.

"I have no problems with that Captain, it would be the logical thing to do."

[Morgan Freeman]

"I think we can figure out something"  Morgan said smiling as he stepped out of the fighter.   Morgan stepped around to where the noticeable fuel port.  Turning to an engineering tech in the bay Morgan spoke "Get me a type C fuel transfer line and a type 4 container."
"Captain, I will do an analysis of the fuels with the substance that we found.  It may be a little different but I will know in about one hour."
A few minutes passed by before the tech returned handing the line and the container to Morgan who immediately attached one end of the hose to the container.  It took him a moment to open the fighter fuel door he opened it and stuck in the hose.  Once it was securely placed he pumped a small amount of fuel into the container.  
"Now all I have to do is take this back to an engineering lab and analyze the makeup of the fuel.  Captain if you need me I will be in engineering lab 2"   Morgan took the container and walked out of the shuttle bay heading towards the lab.

[T'lana]

T'lana walked with Captain Taurik to the bridge, there wasn't much more she could do in the Shuttle Bay.
On the Bridge, T'lana went to her station, with the Captain in his Ready Room T'lana was technically in charge of the Bridge, seeing as they have not had a real XO is so long.

T'lana sat at the Science Station and began a series of sensor sweeps designed to look for quantum displacement, cloaked vessels in other words.

[Chaya Sar]

"Yes my galaxy knows about Quantum Teleportation. It was just deemed useless, especially when we have vessels that can travel from planetary orbit to landing zone in less than a minute."

[Holographic Officer Beta]

Beta, still holding his Type IV rifle, opened fire on the Borg, putting himself inbetween it and the Captain, knowing that as a hologram assimilation was impossible.

[Taurik]

As Taurik was being dragged to the assimilation table, he reached for his weapon, but it was knocked to the ground by one of the drones. Without his khala, and with his abilities drained, he was defenseless.

The Queen then stepped over to her and made mention of his assimilation, and of her intentions with Chaya Sar.

"Kill me or release me," he said. "But realize that I will never submit to the Collective."

[Holographic Officer Beta]

((Sorry, but since Morgan is a full Commander, wouldn't it be logical for him to assume command in Taurik's absence, since he is the ranking officer?))

Beta stepped into the room, angry with his programming at not being able to protect the Captain from the Borg.

"Ma'am: with due respect; we shouldn't be in here talking. We should be on the Bridge, fighting to get free of the Borg, to allow us to pursue the Captain! We cannot do a thing with that tractor beam on us!"

[T'lana]

After Givrillian activated the USS Rivendell's Multi-Vector Assault Mode, the vessel split into it's three seperate, Warp Capable sections. Unique to the Prometheus Class vessels, the three separate sections of the Rivendell have equal power, with the two sections other than the bridge section, being controlled by the computer.

"Attack pattern delta Mr. Sarpedon."

[T'lana]

T'lana looked up from the main engineering console and turned to Chaya Sar. It amazed T'lana just how human Chaya Sar looked, even though she was from another galaxy. There are of course many internal physical differences. When T'lana scanned Chaya, when they first rescued her, she noted just how perfect Chaya's biological structure was. It was though Chaya wasn't born at all, but was created, a Replicant. Either way, T'lana noted that Chaya's biology had none of the usual biological traits of humanoid beings, she had no physical disabilities or disorders at all, that one would expect from a young humanoid woman.

It didn't really matter, T'lana just found it interesting from a scientific point of view. Of course, if any of the Starfleet personnel was to learn of Chaya's perfect biological structure, who knows what might ensue.

"Greetings Chaya, Captain. Captain, Mr. Freeman has noted a significant power loss during the initial engagement of the warp drive, but we believe we have discovered the cause."

[T'lana]

At 1750 hours, T'lana walked into the Mess Hall and sat, awaiting the arrival of all the senior staff.

[T'lana]

[T'Kar]

"Excuse me commander, could you please tell me where the captain is?

[Tigerlead]

Tigerlead looked at the commander and said
"Well mam i'm glad to be here. I hope i can live long and prosper aboard this ship as you Vulcans say... kind of a stupid goal in my line of work isn't it?" smiling at the commander.

[Larial]

"Thank you, that would be wonderful." Stated Larial smiling.

Larial slightly nodded her head and then went back to Morgan smiling, she was obviously excited to be here, even her Optical Display System was brighter in color as it constantly displayed telemetry. Or maybe that was just her imagination, if she had one of course.
