*after keeping a low profile, Julian finished his walk around the old ship, watching all her guts be removed and new equipment get put in. He hears the senior staff call and figures it was his time to leave. He headed for the docking bay and preps his flyer for the return trip to the planet.*

Mason stands bemused as Maguid happily walks over the Marines and introduces himself.
"On second thoughts Kozlov. I won't be needing your assistance. My trip the doctor has been delayed."

Mason utters quietly
"Who would have thought that a Romulan would just go up and say hi to a marine? Either his one brave romulan or times are indeed changing."
"You've put me to shame Maguid" mason says under his breathe

Mason takes in a large amount of air and exhales it slowly as he begins to walk over to John and Balkazar and begins to introduce himself.
"Greetings Colonel and Private, I am Lieutenant Mason, Operations Officer for this vessel. It is my pleasure to meet you both."
He straightens his back knowing that's a sign of respect for marines and waits nervously for a reply.

[Balkazar]

<Looks at the young Lt. with a steadfast gaze>

"You are lucky! your not under my command, Lt!.  Or I would have you clean the latrines till you DIED!, is that understood!.  Next time you talk to me in that manner, Mr Mason, I swear to all the gods I will back hand you young pup if you ever talk to me or any of my marines like that again.  Is that understood Lt!.  Simpson!, get him out of my sight!" Balkazar said angrily.

Ah well Captain. I believe with your a marine or Naval Officer it is better to be honest. I admire your courage to admit to not knowing something ove trying to bluff your way through it.

I mean not to demine the position but I shall give it to you in a nut shell. Chief Operations Officer is the Bridge Officer the knows what the entire ship is doing. Unlike any of the other Bridge station that would have one propose Operations watches the whole ship on a small scale. maintains the full ships functions. Do you think you could do thatCaptain Richerds?

"No. It was before my time here at Expansion Fleet. I have stood in this very spot though imagining the possibilities for her though. She has not seen action nearing two years now. Maybe more. I just hope she will be recommissioned. Command is giving me a little trouble but I will fight to see her with those lights on her hull on and illuminating her name."

Mark stood there dumbfounded, he has never really seen a marine before and it was a pretty awkard situtation for him. He sure did remind him of someone though...

"Well colonel. My business here is my own. Secondly this Ensign is apart of Starfleet which I last Checked was a military force and since this is a military ship and he is in Starfleet he belongs here. This ship is not just going to be a marine vessel Colonel. Starfleet will have a presence here."

[William Richerd]

Richerd returns the hand shack. "It is good to be back... It seems that at the end of every mission I get lost on my home... go figure that one out someday." He said with a laugh. "So... we are brining out one of the older ships? That's good, the older ships have more class to them." He then leaned forward as if spreading a conspiracy, "You don't think they are going to bring back any of the Titanic ships?" He was using the word titanic for the size of a ship, not the name of one particular ship.

Richerd nodded his head. "Aye sir... " he wanted to comment on that the stacking procedure was similar to how they like it, but held his tongue. "Well admiral, I am off to the mines to work." He gave a laugh and turned around to head into the turbo lift and then to help in medical.

[Balkazar]

"Ressik is part of this marine company, thats why your here.  I want you to assist, Mitchel here with getting the medical bay outfitted.  Mitchel your approved to get what you need and thensome.  I think youll be needing it when we get a mission after we fix this place up."

*Viktor Brings the craft into the docking bay.
