Negotiations between Starfleet and the Delta Alliance

Perhaps gentleman we, begin our writeup of terms of treaty, such as trade knowledge and defence.

*Tries to keep his laughter inside, and then turns to Daniel Reeves on his left.*
"Your turn, sir! Muwahahahaha!"
*He takes some salt from the box and puts it in the hand of Reeves.*
"The salt, for the bitterness of life!"
*He waits until Reeves eats the salt, and then turns to Sanchez and extends his hand to the bottle of Razanis, that Sanchez was still holding.*
"The bottle, sir? I can't complete the ceremony without it."
*Reluctantly, Sanchez hands the bottle back to his first officer, who then pours the drink into the glass of Reeves.*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul!"
*Then finally, he gives the glass to Reeves, though he eyes it first himself, reluctantly that he can't drink it.*
"I am the past and the future.  And the future commands. Be my friend for the present."

"Give me one moment, Chief, perhaps their species do not have the brain capacity to understand our reasoning. I'm reading now if his brainwaves are different from ours, so that we will perhaps have to search for another approach to talk with them on a more primitive level."

"Now that would most definitely sound interesting. Before that warp speed rule was instated by Starfleet Command, our missions didn't even take half that long as they do now!"

[Vorak]

"Usually, Starfleet is not very fond of sharing technology, because we can never be sure to what purposes it may be used. However, I do believe this is a unique situation, and requires a unique approach. I am very grateful that you also wish to share your technology with us. And I expect a full report from the U.S.S. Evolution, once the ship has personally visited this Null Space Catapult."
*He glances over at Sanchez for a moment, and then back.*
"As for our treaty... This first contact is yet very young, and thus it is hard to determine what the treaty should include. For the moment, I propose a peace treaty, in where we attempt to keep regular contact, give each other access to our space domain, and exchange information, such as medical information..."
*Glances at Ragolis and then back.*
"And schematics for technology, such as our food replicator, and also scientific information and stellar cartography. Our treaty may need the inclusion of more pacts. However, it is time that will determine that. In the meantime, I would like to suggest the following: the U.S.S. Evolution accompanies you to the Temples of Sordinan, as agreed, which will be the start of the ship's new mission... The U.S.S. Evolution is to be stationed with Delta Alliance space permanently, with as main mission to explore this new space and new species of the Delta Alliance, and create stronger bonds between your Alliance, and our Federation. The U.S.S. Evolution will have the task of exploration, and arbition. Is this proposal satisfactory for you?"
*Vorak calmly looks at the members of the Delta Alliance in front of him.*

OFF: would be great if Nick Brooks could post now to continue the ceremony. Its basically the same thing, but remember that you too will be affected by the strong alcohol of the drink lol. Then, Brooks, you pass it on to either Dalon or Daniel Reeves, and then the next to the next and so on... and yes, Dalon, even for a Vulcan this is strong stuff lol.
