Negotiations between Starfleet and the Delta Alliance

The Zentara docks on the docking ring and the parties involve depart from the ship.  The Helm droid remains stationary and awaits further instructions.

Tankalan, now I must stress the point, here I am the senetor, not the queen. I dont want to scare these fragile humanoids http://expansionfleet.sparks.priorweb.be/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> as I imagine our Droids did.

Kiatya makes her way to the embassy and steps in quickly*

*looks around the room and gives Ardwyad a small smile*

*then turns to the heavily medaled humanoid and looks at him.  Vulcan I presume sir, "raises hand in vulcan salute" Live long and prosper.

Extends a hand to each remaining crew member before sitting down next to Ardwyad.  Allow me to introduce my companion Mnisister Tankalan, Represenatve of the Talonian empire.

"No, Mr. Ardwyad, you are definitely correct in your assumption. The former crew of the USS Sequoia has also entered the Net before. I assume you wish them to be purged of their transgression as well?"

"As you are probably quite familar with this Quadrant is home to very many hostile species, with our alliance we are able to protect ourselves against these hostile species.  But not only that but our Alliance is really the beginning of a greater good for the Delta Quadrant our hope is that perhaps peace will spread throughout the Quadrant, I am quite certain that is very close to what the goals of your Federation is in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants"

[Dalon]

*Dalon calmly drinks the glass of Razanis that Reeves gave him. His Vulcan control never seems to waver. Everyone looks at him with expectations, because everyone wonders if it will have the same effect on a Vulcan as on a Human, but Dalon does not seem to give the slightest hint. Then he looks at the person on his left, Ragolis, and calmly begins to continue the ceremony by taking some salt from the box and putting it in the hand of Ragolis.*
"The salt, for the bitterness of life."
*He calmly waits until Ragolis eats the salt, and then fills his glass with the Razanis.*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."
*Then he gives the glass to Ragolis.*
"I am the past and the future.  And the future commands. Be my friend for the present."
*At the moment Ragolis wants to drink it, Dalon suddenly starts singing really loud, his voice pitching from very high to very low and back. Ragolis almost spoils his drink from the unexpected singing.*

[Randall Sanchez]

*Glances confused at Ardwyad, as he gets up again.*
"You mean... you didn't know it yourself even? Wow... that's what I call a perfect disguise."
*He inclines his head toward the High Queen himself.*
"Your majesty, I look forward to strengthen the bond between your Alliance, and our Federation, through the presence of my ship."

[Tankalan]

*nods his head in a manner of thanks and drinks the glass empty right away*

*At that moment Tankalan takes a bit of salt from the box and puts it in the hand of of Sanchez the human Captain from the Federation*

"The salt, for the bitterness of life."
*Then Sanchez eats the salt, after which Tankalan fills the glass of Sanchez with the Razanis*

"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."
*Then he gives the glass to Sanchez, so that he may drink it*

"I am the past and the future.  And the future commands. Be my friend for the presen."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Nonsense! It's a RED bathing suit, because red is the color a captain wears, so I'm perfectly in uniform!"
*He glares at the commander.*
"But I don't recall green underwear with pink stripes to be the right uniform color for an executive officer! Let's get on with this ceremony, shall we? Come on, take the glass of Mr. Reeves on your left, he's waiting!"

[Vorak]

*Vorak suddenly gets up and interrupts Sanchez.*
"Mr. Sanchez will gladly comply to your request, Mr. Ardwyad, if it can benefit our mutual alliance between your Delta Alliance and Starfleet."
*Vorak then glances at Sanchez for a moment, clearly showing that this was not a request but an order.*

[Koloblicin]

*Kolo listens to the conversation and is beging to get a bad feeling.Though his empathic senses are not telling him anything bad,he stiil does not have a good feeling.*
"How long will our officers be gone?"

Tankalan walks in behind Senator Kiatya

Greetings to you all from the Talonion homeworld please allow me to greet you in the customary Talonion way.

Talonion then begins to walk around the room wrapping everyone in the room in his wings but taking extra care to wrap the Vulcan known as Vorak and the Human known as Sanchez in his wings for an extra time, after a certain amount of time Tankalan procedes to take his seat beside the Senator

The delta alliance seems to hve the same principals as your UFP.

Governed by a High queen, she co ordinates the running of the borders and their fleets, but is in no means solely in charge. m The representatives of the member species are also responsible for their own species, such as customs/culture/orders ship running maintances etc.

So in reality its a group comittee runninght the alliance not just  leader, while we do have a leader who oversees and steps in should a "need" ever arise, which thankfully that has not happened yet

*This time, Comm One on his turn takes a bit of salt from the box, and puts it in the hand of Tankalan, the bird-like Talonion representative at his left.*

*Then Tankalan eats the salt, whereafter Comm One fills the glass of Tankalan with the Razanis*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."
*Then he gives the glass to Tankalan, so he can drink it.*

*Brooks looks at the captain with a smile.*
"Speak for yourself, captain! A bathing suit isn't exactly a standard Starfleet uniform either!"
