"I don't intend to give them anything, not our ships, not our people, not ourselves.  In the worst case, I'm willing to sacrifice my own life but nothing more!"

OFF: on which ship are we now? That of Calderian or the USS Evolution?

"Will she survive, doctor?" he asked worriedly when Keilah was making scans of Marou.

"Hmmm their technology doesnt seem to be all that complicated to figure out..."

*pushes some buttons and suddenly a small viewscreen in front of them lights up...

A blue-green class M planet is being displayed and some additional information is written next to it*

"If I understand well, I believe that this must be the homeworld of the Loxians... and the very ship we are on is now in orbit around their planet"

"For all we know, they may now be listening to our conversations here and waiting for us to say something useful. I wonder what they want to know.  And even if we escape from here, we're on a ship we can't get off, and Ms. Marou is dieing."

The floor under his feet tremble, and loud alert noises resound in the halls and corridors of the Loxian ship.  The Loxians struggle to keep up on their feet, and that is when Sanchez sees his opportunity...

"Now!" he announces to Keilah and Marou, and instantly he jumps against one of the guards, causing the guard to fall down, grabbing the guards weapon and knocking him unconscious.
By the time the other guards realize what is happening, he turns around and starts fire on them.  One of the guards falls down right next to him, he takes the guard's weapon and throws it at Keilah.
"Here!"

Then they get up and start running through the corridor.
"Back me up, doctor, and make sure Marou doesn't stay behind, I'm not leaving any of you behind here.  Over there's a panel, I'll try to disable the ship's shields from there, if you can keep the Loxians on a distance!"

Then, he fires on some other panels, causing them to explode, so there would be a magnetic interference so the Loxians wouldn't be able to use their short-range transporter to move him to another place in the ship...

Sanchez looks carefully at the control panels nearby, as there are still weapons aimed at him, Keilah and Marou.  Suddenly he whispers to the doctor...

"I think I have an idea how their panels work, and if we can buy ourselves time, I might be able to disable the shields of this ship... and I think I know which way their transporter room is."

Then he looks at Marou...

"Do you think you have some strength left to make a quick run?"

Sanchez is being pushed in some small room on the Loxian ship, together with Keilah and Marou.  The door closes and there is only a faint light in the room, and complete silence.

"I had this feeling that we were going to get in a mess."

*Sanchez grabs Keilah by the shoulders and looks concerned and caring*

"Don't let yourself run on hatred, doctor... You'll lose your efficiency, and Starfleet does not work that way.  Keep your head cool, alot depends on you now, and if you don't work efficient they'll hit you again.  If you can hold the Loxians at bay a little longer, I think I have those shields down any moment."

*He turns back to the panel and pushes some more buttons really fast, for some seconds that seem to stretch forever, until at last...*

"The shields are down!  The transporter room is a few corridors away! Run!"

"Thats my first officer! I recognize his voice! I knew I could count on him to come with the Evolution and find us!"

*He runs to a panel and pushes some buttons*

"Sanchez to USS Evolution, Sanchez to Evolution! We're all three on the ship, we escaped our cells! Try to damage their shields so you can get a transporter lock on us and beam us out of here."

At that moment, he hears noises behind him, and has a bad feeling about this, which comes true when he turns around and sees that they are surrounded by a bunch of Loxian guards, aiming their weapons sharply.  He had made the mistake of betraying his position on the ship when he tried to contact the USS Evolution.  Would the USS Evolution manage to get the Loxian ship's shields down in time,  before he, Keilah and Marou were taken prisoner again and put somewhere beyond the reach of a transporter beam?

The captan nodds and aims his weapon.

"Let's go!"

Silently, they stride through the many alien corridors, not knowing where they are going...

"This really doesn't look good, but we have to come up with a plan.  I can't allow to let any of us die, but if I give them the information they want, I'll have even more deaths at my hands.  There has to be a way to get through them, so they will opt for a more peaceful solution."

*Sanchez turns to Blaze.*
"Then make sure your shuttle is ready for departure as soon as we can leave."
*Then he enters Zayan's room, who is about to give birth to the child.*
"Oh my... Is there a doctor here anywhere??? A doctor, now!!!"
*Then he runs to Zayan.*
"Are you all right?"

*Sanchez looks up at Taurik.*
"Then we should go now. Unless there's something else we need to do here before we leave?"

*After the doctor had taken care of the first needs of the crying baby, Sanchez took it in his arms and looked at it together with Zayan.*
"It's a beautiful child, isn't it?"
*He looked at the child that had both human and Loxian features. It was the first baby of mixed Loxian and human blood in history.  Then, Sanchez looked at Blaze, and spoke to him softly.*
"Yes, we need to get out of here as soon as possible. Make all preparations, please."

OFF: I take it Zayan is in labour already?

*Sanchez hears the screams of Zayan echoing through the corridors.*
"Oh my... is someone torturing her?? No, she doesn't sound like that, she... she... oh no, is she in labour???"
